So, I noticed today that Kensei's "Spirit of Inevitability" is bugged, and people abuse it so bad. The problem with him is that according to moveset list and the icon legend - the 1st and 2nd light attack must not be blocked in order to activate the unblocable heavy attack - how it really works is like this - PVP with Kensei, I am Warden - the guy attacks 2 times with light attack from top stance, i blocked both 100%, and all of a sudden comes unblocable heavy... it happened on all of my PVP matches. And even if it takes so long to throw that heavy down, you can't evade it even if u dodge back left or right - it always hits you.
With Raider is more of a nerf case in my opinion. Now we are taking about Raider Fury - PVP, again me Warden, oponent Raider - the match looks like this, guy throws 3x Raider Fury, runs away from fight until stamina recharge, again 3x fury, again run until recharge - no matter the fact you dodge some of them and some will still catch you - but there is no penalty for using that move - the stamina cost is low enough for him to play like that for hours. And in Dominion or Elimination its just a game winner... nothing you can really do about it.
Thats my Feedback so far![]()
So you just told me nowOK that is one side of the story and might be usefull... but even thou... if u 1v1 another player in Elimination and Raider shows up around u can't parry him then, and I admit parrying takes a bit of training as I've been training the orochi's ublockable combo.
Talking about Kensei... his combo is just purely broken and seems unfair that I block 2hits but he still gets cheesy reward that keeps me in block stance for most of the match.
Actually, the unblockable heavy attack must be done as a high in the 3rd strike of the string and the Kensei can string of off anything, be it a light attack, a heavy attack, a guard break, etc.
The only attack that, when blocked, you can continue doing the string, is the heavy attack.
If you block a light attack, the string gets interrupted, if you tech the guard break, the string gets interrupted, etc.
Also, the unblockable can be dodged, it happened to me a lot of times, whenever I do it my opponents do a backwards roll and I miss.
Try looking at the Kensei videos and training with him againt a lvl 0 bot to understand him better
You have it twisted m8. The kensei can do his unblockable only if his first to prior attacks were not interrupted. Simply blocking does not interrupt a chain however, parrying does. If you want to interrupt a chain with a block try conqueror, his blocks interrupt chains. So, not broken, you just haven't learned to counter him yet. Hopefully this helps.Originally Posted by Asghann Go to original post
