I play with a PS3 controller, and it definitely has a lot issues. The left-stick click or sprint by default usually pings the map and/or attacks randomly. Makes the game really hard to play, at least on a PS3 controller.

I hear people are having problems with the PS4 controller as well, which is my other option but, the targetting or something is off. Anyone else use a PS3 controller to any success?

Hey guys,

While you may be able to use a PS3 controller, it is not officially supported, which is stated on the system requirements, viewable here.

As for the PS4 controller, make sure to use the official drivers for this, rather than a 3rd party program such as Input Mapper or DS4Windows.
