That brings me here. I don't use a touch screen, so I've already had TabletInputService disabled, which I double-verified.
I could not load into the game at all, so no GamerProfile.xml was present. Neither creating one, nor downloading one, helped in the slightest.
I tried looking up Low Spec programs to try and just get the game to launch, with no results.
I've set to compatability mode for both Win8(ewww) and 7, running normally and as Admin. No use.
I've double checked that I have all the drivers I can find up-to-date, and it will not work.
I've checked www.CanYouRunIt.com and it says I'm more than capable of playing it
And yet, when Blood Dragon came out free, I picked it up, and it plays just fine. So what gives?
Hello. I have the same problem as well. I've done the compatibility issue suggestion more than 10 times literally, nothing happens. I'm running it on Windows 10 using DX11. Funny thing is FC4 will load just fine. Another thing, I don't have a GamerProfile.xml file anywhere in my files. I've checked 4 times and then some more. I'm wondering if this is an issue because apparently there's a command you can do to change it to where either you don't run the game of DX11, or it commands it some way in order for it to work. Idk dude. I think my problem is that for some reason the GamerProfile.xml file isn't in my files at all. Wish I could help but I didn't find a solution. It's so odd. I was able to play FC3 for an hour, and then when I tried to start it up again it never did ever again. I'll keep trying. I think that's the issue though, missing that .xml file. I tried creating one through notepad and it didn't work either.
Drizzy, one thing I do know is that the GamerProfile.xml file doesn't get created until you successfully launch the game. Some people have gotten their games to work by downloading other people's profiles and loading it into the directory, then taking the time to change their settings to what they need.
