Give the game time before we all start screaming for rebalancing of characters.
So you're bagging on people for commenting on the state of balance in the game without having played it enough, while simultaneously commenting on the state of balance in the game while having played for much less time than many of the players who are disagreeing with you?

How do you not see the hypocrisy in this? Do you think that because you're saying it's balanced as opposed to unbalanced that your opinion holds more weight?

As some who has played in the last 4 tests, I can tell you this game is NOT balanced. The fact that you can beat any class with any other class does not mean the game is balanced. You can roll any number on a weighted dice, but that doesn't mean every number has an equal chance. Certain characters are stronger than others, and require less effort and luck to win with that others.
If you think the Peacekeeper and Raider are on an even footing, you've clearly not played much at all.

What is an issue however, is the characters who are weaker are left in the dust.

Raider is severely underpowered. He is the only character that does not get a free heavy attack or at least enhanced attack after a guard break. He also has the lowest attack range on light attacks in the game whilst sporting a dane axe.

Conqueror outside of his shield bash has no real strengths to his kit, it's all generic and can easily be parried or dodged by kensei, oroichi, bezerker or peacekeeper.

I believe we should make it so that the other classes that are weaker are as strong as peacekeeper, nobushi and oroichi rather than making these classes worse so that it's viable to play raider, conqueror and other such classes.
I disagree on the raider. It's actually very strong when a skilled players uses it. It might not be the fastest but it can 2 shot almost anyone with his heavy attacks, that's why he doesn't get a free one as easy as the rest. Don't forget that people can spec full damage in the full game, which would make his heavy attack onshots assassin's and probably hit 2/3 of anyone's health.

    2 Major issues with this.

    1: Blocking
    2: Parrying.

    Case closed.

Have you seen raider? His heavies are the easiest to parry in the game! It doesn't matter if you deal 2/3 of their health on a hit if they can block it so easily. This is why he should be able to do it after a guardbreak like every other class in the game. Because he can't bloody hit them due to their lack of speed. You can't even feint to parry the enemy because he has no follow up after parrying.

Edit: Also, skilled players will fight skilled players. Therefore, everyone he fights will also know how to parry, block and dodge. HE WILL NOT hit his heavies and he certainly cannot do it after guard breaking like everyone else.
