Peacekeeper Zone Attack and Assassin Dodges

Why is it + on block if she cancels the first hit?
Zone Attacks are meant to be fast and punishable but she's sorely lacking in the punishable department.
Her light chains are annoying but not terribly unbalanced. But having those Lights, Zone Attack and her Dodge covering so much ground with invincibility frames she becomes the most annoying character to fight against.

Her (and all assassin dodges) should have some sort of penalty when exhausted. Currently you really have no reason carefully manage your stamina as an assassin like you do with all the other classes.

This game is too defense oriented, the only characters that are actually good are those that break the mold with nigh unreactable attacks and/or 50/50s, and when you play those characters it really just comes down to did you guess right or did you wait long enough.

But maybe I'm just ranting, I'd like to hear what other experienced players think.

I believe a wise man once said "The best offense is a good defense", close quarters combat is as much about defense as it is offense.

That's well and good but when defense is absolutely stronger than offense the game becomes a slow, boring mess.

I have yet to find this game either slow or boring but I respect your opinion on the matter
