Launch arguments for forcing ports/Can't play with my house mates

This is a cross post from another topic I made in the community support forum. I'm posting it here to hopefully shed more light on the issue before the game releases.

My original topic can be found here.

To sum up my other post:: Myself and my house mates (2 other guys) can't play together or even play at the same time in different matches/game modes due to a conflict of our game clients all using the same ports for the game. Port triggering didn't fix this since the same ports can still be triggered at the same time by multiple clients. Using a VPN made it so we could play at the same time, but not together. The only other option I have to fix this would be paying my ISP extra so that we could all get our own external IPs which I won't do just so that we can play one game together.

Other multiplayer games (battlefield and CS:GO) have the ability to add a launch parameter/argument/command to force your client to use a certain port. This would allow 3 computers on the same network to force their game to use different ports in order to avoid a conflict of data being sent/received on the same ports.

PLEASE implement this with your games Ubisoft! Myself and my house mates were expecting to be able to play together and that was going to be a major selling point on this game (and possibly even GR: Wildlands) for us. If we can't play together, the chances of us buying this game (or any other future Ubisoft games) is slim to none.

There is a large population of people that cannot get their NAT type to open up regardless of port forwarding, upnp, DMZ etc. Also anyone that has multiple machines on a single router won't be able to play at the same time it seems. This whole situation is a ****ing joke. Buy a VPN to play a video game? ****ing kidding me?

There are a ton of people that simply can't play this game in its' current state and there will probably be a huge wave of disappointed customers after release when they realize the game is unplayable for them. At least you learned this before Ubisoft stole your money.

Yea, luckily I still had a subscription to ExpressVPN running to test the VPN fix. That's $100/year though which shouldn't be required to play a game with my friends, which I still can't do. It only allows us to play at the same time, not together.

People in college dorms or apartments who use the supplied internet are screwed unless the dorm/apartment is supplied with a massive block of external IPs.
