    Characters with shield are OP

Characters in For Honor who carry shields, i.e. the Knight with a flail and shield and the Viking with a sword and shield, are too easy to play and hard to fight. There's practically no way for a non-shield character to penetrate their defenses, and when you try to attack anyway they can just do a simply parry with their shield and then hit a light attack, then rinse and repeat. it's some annoying ****, especially when going up against bots. unless you also play one of those two characters with shield, in my (granted relatively short) experience you're most likely going to lose the fight.

The only way I've seen work is waiting for him to attach and use for example Orochi's dodge-counter, but even that is so incredibly hard to hit because the extremely narrow "window" where you're supposed to hit the counter is seemingly different for each character you fight. It's so frustrating!

Nah. I believe their shield blocking mechanics work the same as the other classes blocking mechanics.

I play Conqueror and I don't see how he's overpowered. Firstly he does very little damage for a "heavy hitter," and his attacks are INSANELY slow. He's high defense, however, and the most fun I have playing him is fending off 2-3 enemies who inadvertently power up my revenge by spamming attacks in the same directions over and over. The only time he's able to go offense and kill anyone is in revenge when he's on his own, which makes him more exciting to me. I have to sit back, bide my time, master my blocks, and then hit that revenge button and swing my mace till the bad feelings go away. It took me a long time to figure out how to play the conq effectively.

Yea they're the only class I can't really do much against, as a Warden main. Something about them I can't get a hit in, or even block their attacks.

No it doesn't, they can stance with his shield so no matter what they'll block attacks very easily. If we take Orochi as example again, he's pretty vulnerable from all angles and the blocks are alot harder to time.

Yes he might be slow, but for example in a duel; He can just stand there, wait for the enemy to attack, and then do a simply block that stuns and then throw a light attack. rinse repeat. it might not be the fastest kill, but it is damn effective and way to simple compared to other characters.

Conqueror is the weakest class in the game imo. You just have to gap close, use guard breaks, and use unblockables. Its very easy to counter. The problem with balance is how op the samurai are.

In soft words ... learn to play

The Forum is overfilled with post of classes which "need to be nerfed"

Seriously: I don't know a class yet, which wasn't accused for being OP!
Orochi, Raider, Conqueror, Nobushi, Peacekeeper, Kensei, etc

I agree that Nobushi from samurais need a nerf, her poisonous stick is ridiculous ...

But I can't agree with that Conqueror is the weakest. sure, we've established that he does less damage, but the tactic i see absolute most is the stand back, wait for an attack, counter and stun, and throws a hit when you're most vulnerable.
The worst is the Warlord though, he has a lot faster and heavier attacks than Conq.

shield classes need to get their spammable combos looked at and their defense could use some adjustment as it is too easy to full turtle with them (which makes them annoying as all hell in 1v1 situations)

the relation of their damage compared to their defense capabilities and how easy it is to do just doesnt seem justified.
