Just downloaded the open beta about an hour ago, and I managed to play the tutorial and a few 1v1s just fine. As I kept playing, my computer randomly turned off and restarted. No crash screen, no error message, just a complete, instant restart. After this happened, I relaunched and immediately after reaching the multiplayer map, the same thing happened: complete, instant restart, no error message. I've tried a few times, and when the restart happens seems to be totally random, but it always ends up happening. So far it's happened the most in 4v4 deathmatch and 4v4 dominion. I haven't tried 1v1 again since the first restart.
Is anyone else experiencing this, or have any suggestions as to what exactly could be causing this to happen? I'd really rather play For Honor on PC, but at this rate, I might have to bite the bullet and switch to PS4, because the game as it is now is unplayable for me.
Hi! Can you guys please provide your computer's system specs? Are you playing on laptops, and is your computer in High Performance mode (or the equivalent) or a power-saving mode?
Also, about how long does it take before the computer restarts? Is it a similar amount of time every time? Thank you!
Update: Thanks for the details provided so far! Please open tickets at https://support.ubi.com regarding this issue and include your msinfo and dxdiag files to help our team investigate this problem.
Here too with the same problem, there is the new driver from nvidia that optimizes For Honor, I will install and see what happens.

I have my PC turning off right after "Press any button" screen when the game loads to menu. Happened 3 times in a row. Yesterday, it would happen at random times (midgame, mid-singleplayer mission, during match loading). Have tried playing the game windowed / fullscreen / borderless-window.

Same issues here, even called Ubisoft Tech support and they are clueless about it.
Worst thing is, the crashes corrupted my OS to the point I could not even boot without it crashing at Desktop.
I have just lost 3 clients work as I was unable to even get on long enough to transfer files across.
Reinstalled Windows 10 now and seems to be ok and I am currently reinstalling the game so fingers crossed.
