I personally like duel and brawl modes. They are interesting and more or less balanced (it seems).
But what I don't like in PVP modes is that the opposite team stays the same.
In 4x4 people come and go in the process so the teams change a little.
But when you duel the same player again and again and you can't change your opponent without leaving the game - this feels weird...
I want to test myself fighting other characters and I want the game to pick different opponents for me.
Don't you think it's not so interesting to fight the same players again and again?
It would be great to have some kind of button between the fights which picks different opponent for you.
Or ask the palyers if they want to pick another opponent or fight with current opponent again. This should be fair enough and quite comfortable.

If I could I wound contribute a negative vote for Elimination. It seems to reward the teams that that have more alive players with more powerups and the ability to safely revive any killed team mates making comebacks rare. An early victory in a 1v1 leads to a snowball effect as players are grouped up on and killed.
Dominion is the better 4v4 mode because of respawns, and the addition of controls points discouraging teams from roaming as a group of 4.
Dominion. I care 0 for duels and/or brawls.
P v Ai mostly as the p v p is full of leavers, and the constant reconnects drive me nuts, it also feels sluggish (because of "the simulation" and the amount of synchronising required?).
Fully loving it though, and because of that latter mode I preordered months ago, no regrets (but keep the bot difficulty going up please : o) ).
And I'll say it again, super mario power ups should not be in this game (in my book at least, so elimination is not an option).
Need a new mode, some kind of que for 1v1 arena type of thing.

There's a lot of players in this game who want to have fun dueling but the current 1v1 duel system is kind of badly made, imho it should be a lobby of sorts where there's like 10 people and they either take turns fighting or have multiple arenas per lobby where people are dueling and winner of the duel gets to fight next in queue.

My ideas for a more dynamic Dominion experience are following ones:
1) Let small groups of minions (maybe 4-5) cruise through the map, while the main force runs to the centre. This is just for the eye, to see small groups fighting each other, to make it a bit more chaotic ^^
2) Whenever a zone is captured, let a sergeant spawn at the spawn point of the team and run to the captured zone and defend it. So there would be even a small resistance at a captured zone, if it's held long enough till enforcement arrives ... even a sergeant and some minions are slayed in less then 10 seconds.
3) If the centre is taken, let the minions even burst out further and maybe even try to storm the spawn location of the enemy team AND the zone near of it. So it would be more pressure about controlling the centre and it would hugely effect the whole match if the centre gets out of controll. It would make an impact and create more possibilites for the match to evolve, just by giving minions more range to push forward.
4) Add some archers to the match, which run to a captured zone and actually give weight to it by influencing the centre in this way. They are in the campaign and they make sense, so why not in Dominion?
5) Let sergeants spawn among the minions of a BREAKING team. Makes it more epic, to give them a kind of "last reinforcement".
All these points would really add a lot of action and diversity to a match and not even require much work to implement ...
The last point I want to mention could maybe also be regarded as a proposition for another LONGER moba based mode ... it is that the battle shouldn't be over, when the gate is stormed!
Here is where the where it really comes to success or failure. The battle could continue in the courtyard and then it could be about storming the castle.
Would be really nice to have some maps with this additional feature!

I totally agree with most of the guys here. These power ups in the 4v4 totally destroyed this mode. The Reveange-Mode works finde so why do we need extra stuff to survive? I think there is no reason for thes buffs.
My opinion about the reviving-thing: Just execute these guys.
Over all gaming modes: the matchmaking in the closed alpha and beta worked way better than in the open beta. There were 185.000 warriors online but we have to wait for 10-15 minutes to find a match and if we leave after a match and try to find new opponents we get cued with the same guys again and again.

just some suggestions
It might be interesting to fight on bigger maps with more control points and bigger teams
Progressive castle siege - attacker takes over bridge and after some gate which he will have to destroy by controllable ram or something there will be another stage to fight for and than next one etc... set on timer or if attacker takes over all stages, afer 1st round attacker and defender swaps - winner whoever takes over all stages first or conquer more of them
