Why do we need a super long VS. screen when joining a game in progress? | Forums

I don't get it. Does it take that long to load the map and everything up? While people are fighting and I am joining, I wait thirty seconds and finally join, us losing because I am loading in. Really?

It's not that bad as loading screens go, the Battlefield 1 loading screen lasts 3-4 minutes.
But yeah, that's what it is, a loading screen.
