Pretty much this. Appreciate the effort, though, it's admirable that people are trying to help, but I wonder why Ubi hasn't fixed it yet. My programming knowledge is limited, but I reaaally doubt that the solution to this problem is the next software revelation. It's an important issue and we are almost two weeks after launch. On top of that, laptops in general (even the high end ones) are slower than the average PC and we need this fix ASAP to be able to play normally.Your resolution works only for desktop cards.
That's my bad I didn't see the M after his video card he said he has. That definitely does change things. I don't know if it is "muddying the water" because people are smart enough to realize I was talking about PC and as I said above in my comment or 1st comment this was for PC with Nvidia GeForce cards. But yes I do admit I was giving advice for PC to him but only cuz I didn't catch the M after his video card. I just seen the GeForce 950. So I apologize. Just trying to help. I know how annoying and stressful this is because it took a while for me to get it to full screen. I truly do hope you all find a solution as well for your systems or Ubisoft fixes this.Originally Posted by Zanddder Go to original post
I agree. This is a pretty big mess up to not have fixed before launching the game. This definitely should have been caught and fixed before releasing the game. It's a big enough issue to make some people not play the game at all like me before I found a fix. I also agree this should be fixed by now by Ubisoft. People that paid like $100 for the gold edition pre-purchase and still can't get this fixed I really feel for. I'm one of those who pre-purchased this edition and felt robbed when I couldn't find the fix for it.Originally Posted by Vayrian Go to original post
Well my xps15 can't run it at 4k anyway, but I found that the full screen size is directly affected by the windows scaling setting. For me, I can run it full screen at 1920x1080 on the 4k panel by setting scaling at 125%. 100% and its too small for example. Seems like a bug, desktop scaling size should *not* affect full screen applications.
