Gamers VS casuals [English Espaol русский Deutsche French]

    Hello,
I've heard that you can play in ghost difficulty while the rest of the team can play just with the normal difficulty. If this is true, I think you're wrong UBI because it might end up in tottally mess up The best and most logical way is to let us join people who are playing the same difficulty as us so we will not team up with Yolo players screaming on the mic and killing the enemies while trying to crush them.

    Hola,

    hallo,

Nope, you play the difficulty the host have choose.

So if you play on Ghost and friends join you, they will play on Ghost too, it you join a friend or matchmaking and the host play on normal, you will play on normal too.

Ubikeeba said the opposite to you, I also tried it in the beta and I chose the easiest difficulty, I could withstand C4 going off when my team mates on ghost did not.

What does UBIkeeba knows when you have one of the Guardians of all that is UBI telling you otherwise? Don't you know he has a direct line to Guillemot as well... I believe him! [/sarcasm]

Whilst I agree that this is an unusual feature, I also think it will be a welcome innovation. In my case, my best friend and I are considered pretty hardcore gamers by our peers (we used to be sponsored halo 2 players back in our prime), and we will no doubt attempt a play through together on a more challenging difficulty. However my mate also has a younger nephew that we like to include. The challenge is that his nephew does not have quite the same aptitude for gaming as us and usually has a lot of difficulty playing at the same difficulty levels as us. The compromise is that we will temporarily play on a lower difficulty so that his nephew is feeling included.

For us, user specific difficulty settings would mean that potentially we can all enjoy the same game in the same server at the same time. I hate to break it to you guys, but in your 30's game time is a precious resource, so it's natural to be as inclusive as possible to maximise time and enjoyment.

I am confident there will be a restriction setting in future that can be applied to public games to restrict difficulty settings among the players of not already.
