1v1 Duel Needs to Be The Main Game Mode | Forums

I am surprised by how much i enjoy this game. It is very fun strategic and intense. But only in 1v1 duel mode

I find all the other modes relatively boring because they ruin the essence of what makes the game fun which is one on one combat. I certainly wouldn't suggest removing the other modes, but the problem is that barely anyone plays 1v1 duel so its very hard to find a match. More times than not i search for like 5 minutes and then matchmaking is cancelled because nobody is playing it. But then dominion always has high activity even though its not fun at all (just my opinion).

I know this is only the beta but I'm afraid that if i buy the full game this aspect of it will not change. I would only buy it to play 1v1 so if still nobody plays duel after release then i just wasted 60 bucks which would be awful.

So i would like to see this mode played a lot more and have high activity. I'm sure there are many ways to accomplish this, maybe have some extra incentive for people to play it in order to keep the population high long after launch. For example, give extra rewards (reputation and steel) or exclusive cosmetic/armor items that can only be earned through playing 1v1 duel (and completing the match). It needs an extra push that would make people gravitate toward this mode instead of the others

If I see something changes and this mode becomes a lot more popular (hopefully the most played), I will definitely buy the game because i love this particular mode and how fun it is. However if nothing changes then sadly I will have to pass on the game entirely because otherwise i'd be wasting my money to play brawl/dominion/skirmish etc.

On pc , I find Duel Fast, But it's True 1vs1 And 2vs2 Are the best Gamemode .... Dominion are Fun sometime , and Deathmatch 4vs4 Are ridiculous, Because people Run away For Grab a Bonus that he Acquiere in 1sec , And Give a hudge Advantage . The Other Problem in Dominion and deathmatch 4vs4 , it's the game Become 'Running Man" , no stamina Use for Run it's ridiculous .

I really don't know what the OP is talking about. I get insta queued on 1v1, and I have a Strict NAT. I think you may have a regional issue. There will most likely be ranked play installed at some point, which should give 1v1 a solid presence globally.

1. Do you play on ps4 xbox or pc
2. What region are you in
3. How often does it say high activity for you under 1v1 duel

I play on ps4 im on east coast and it always says low activity for me nat type open

Why would it have to be the 'main' mode. It's a mode. If you like it best, play it the most.

You must have missed the matches with the Orochi spammers. You won't like duel as much then.

I agree with you. When i press (quickgame) the game puts me in a Dominion match but i want 1vs1 Duel Mode.

The game is about faction war, not one on one. Though the game does emphasize the glory of "honorable battle" I think the game modes are fine displayed just the way they are.

I'm not asking for a change of display, although it would be cool to have 1v1 be featured and stand on its own. But thats not necessary and probably wouldnt help much in terms of getting more players.

I'm asking for an extra incentive to actually play the mode because it has a low population. As i mentioned this could be extra rewards or exclusive items that can only be earned through completing duel matches.

And the faction war thing i really dont care about it to me this game is about one on one combat. I just wanna play what i find fun which is only duel i'm not concerned about the context of the war or what game mode makes the most sense.

I haven't really seen anyone play orochi maybe once or twice. if it happens and i lose ill learn and get better

Only certain characters can sprint when out of stamina and that requires a feat to be possible. Otherwise....no beuno amigo.
