stop trying to convince these fools that warlord isnt op. most of them probably just sit there spamming attacks till their stamina runs out without thinking.
warlord only ever gets his damage if you attempt to trade with him or punish him while he is doing a heavy. i've tested this and just about every character in the game can side dash and punish his heavy super easily. if you try to attack him though while he is doing a heavy youre being an idiot. he is going to win the trade and he will get a follow up with a light attack cuz of YOUR mistake. hell just side dash spamming against warlord is likely to beat him as his only way to deal with that is his zone attack or headbutt. both of which swallow up his stamina bar so he cant spam it.
I only use warlord and you definitely get a guaranteed top heavy attack after a shield bash. You don't with side heavy attacks, but you do with the top. I do it constantly against people who don't ever cancel my bash.Originally Posted by thoralexsson Go to original post
His move set isn't great you don't have any good combos, but he makes up for it in stats. And with all his passive feats he's a god in dominion; increased attack, increased defense, increased max health, and auto revive he's great to use for defending zones. I definitely wouldn't say he's over powered though.
Each of the characters in the game just have game modes and situations that are best suited to them. Heavies for dominion and possibly deathmatch, assassins for duels and brawls, and vanguards are kind of a jack of all trades. People just don't understand the game yet so they cry op whenever they get outmatched by a character better suited for the situation, or they just get outplayed and don't like it.
Once the game is released and people start learning it and the strengths and weaknesses of each class and start focusing on min-maxing their builds I think all the talk of everything being op will die down.
Too bad he looks so pudgy. I'll never leave my brutal Raider!Originally Posted by Gorgutz117 Go to original post
