The sidesteps cover such a large distance, so fast. If you miss the deflect attempt, it doesn't matter because you dodge the attack anyway and can respond with an attack.

And it doesn't even use stamina??

I just wait for them to attack, I parry and I place two light attack.
Than I wait again.

They wanna dodge to attack you. Well, how can they dodge if you don't even attack ?
If they don't attack too. Just grab it with X and place two light attack.
