Worst p2p system of all time.

I cant play a single god damn game without a ****ing server migration, a game no longer available or horrible game breaking lag.

Even when I'm the host, I have a ****ing BEAST connection I can easily host 32 ppl, everyone has yellow or red pings.

This is, by far, the MOST GARBAGE P2P SYSTEM OF ALL TIME.

If it was just a classic P2P system it would not be that bad, alot of people today have connections that could easily host 8 players with sub 20ms pings. But no, Ubisoft has this "revolutionary p2p system" that does not give host advantage. Its ****ing garbage.

You NEED dedicated servers for a game that relies on such small reflex windows.

But since you're such a ****ing cheap company and wont ever invest that kind of money into a game, then just revert to classic P2P servers, the game is doing a good job aT giving the host to the best connection: proof, I'm 95% of the time hosting my games, but this system is ****ing garbo, its always favors the players with the bad pings, their stance icons dont update in time, so they are impossible to guard or parry, they skip frames into parries or guards when I try to attack them, its just so ****ing bad, SCRAP IT, NOW.

So ****ing bad, I cant believe they are gonna launch this game is such a poor state.

OH AND WHY THE **** IS THERE A SERVER PAUSE WHEN SOMEONE LEAVES THE GAME AND I'M THE HOST??? WHAT KIND OF GARBAGE P2P SYSTEM HAVE YOU CREATED.

    SO

    ****ING

I completely agree that P2P is not the way to go with a game that has mechanics that heavily rely on such small window response times.

    They got me broken!!! :@

Just like your dear, I do not fit in my head; My brain does not manage to process the fact that Buguisoft does not even learn the lesson .. My God ...
and already buy the game ... really disappointed once again, with a game that looks so beautiful graphically, I love it... but, i dont have so much hope for fix .__.

P2P can be done, but this game implemented it poorly I think. I also hate how the game goes back in time when the host leaves. So confusing.

Am I the only person with very few issues in-game? Yeah you get weird stuff during matchmaking but once a match starts I rarely get problems.

And I'm playing from Australia, Land of Bad Internet.

As stated, bad internet will give you a huge advantage in this "amazing p2p system", people will good pings are the ones suffering.

100% agree, if they were using a classic P2P system, this game would be in a much better state then what its currently in.

They wanted to reinvent the wheel to a P2P system that doesn't advantage the host, what they created is a system that give a HUGE advantage to bad pings.

Seriously its a 8 player game at most, the majority of people today can host while having everyone at under 20ms, there is no host advantage in this case.

Its just so bad, I cant even begin to put into words the frustration I get when facing people with bad pings, why the **** should they get an advantage because they are running porn servers while playing.

    So stupid.

I recognise what you're talking about when I see it. I see none of it in-game.

And what you're talking about is rubber banding, which is about latency. I'm pretty sure most if not all of who I've been matched against are relatively local.

I do completely agree with your sentiment but certainly in a calmer manner. Have you tried this?

Go into your windows firewall settings from the control panel and see if Uplay.exe is on the list of applications that is listed. That isn't listed in their community support for PC support (I'm assuming PC), and that instantly fixed my solution.

I'm on PS4, and I have been doing this in a calmer manner for the past multiple betas and alphas to no avail, I'm trying an all caps aggressive approach this time
