I was getting tired of how bad mouse blocking was (changing my stance when i didnt want to, awkward running out of mousepad all the time) so I figured I would instead use the numpad on my keyboard for handling guard directions, attacks etc.

It works GREAT... even with just an hour practice my stance management and defense is vastly improved, and Im still nowhere near used to these controls yet. But I can say with certainty that this kind of setup is FAR better suited to this game than the default mouse and keyboard.

Now my only problem, is that camera controls are bound to the mouse and there doesnt seem to be any way around that.. You can kind of get by just by using center camera button, but you can only really ever look in the direction youre running in which is pretty awkward for 4v4. I have just been taking my hand off numpad and using the mouse while setting up then quickly switching back once I have a lock on.

Anyways, just posting this here because there's got to be other people trying keyboard only as well and I'm wondering if anyone has discovered a workaround.

If not, it would be nice to see this added as a feature to the game. (Being able to use the directional guard buttons as camera when not in guard mode - Im assuming it does this for controller, right?) I think it makes a LOT of sense to use keyboard only in this game and it's a control type that should be supported
