The entire premise of getting many attacks off to start your infinites is impossible when literally all of your attacks getting parried means losing half your health. There is no safe way to approach as Berserker, as anyone with 2 brain cells can see his guard break coming from a mile away, and when you do get it, all you are guaranteed is a light attack. Meanwhile when you finally attempt to attack, when people inevitably parry you you are guaranteed to get hit by a heavy attack.

I know you you guys are saying, "Why not just feint?" It's because feints are not that fast and are just as easily countered as a guard break, and when people who don't already know that your character gets countered by the simplest thing in the game play you, they quickly learn how much your character sucks and start reading your feints from a mile away. I get how this character can destroy new players who don't know how to parry, but once the person you play against learns this stupid technique they will parry you into guard break/heavy attack every time.

I will not purchase this game if these glaring errors go unfixed.
Berserker is a very strong character. Learn your combos and don't complain until you've played 24 hours.

If you specialise on fast attack chains, it is nearly impossible to recover from you constant staggering. Is it interesting to play? I guess not. Is it working? Oh yes. If the enemy can not recover fast enoug,h from you fast attacks to to reassign the guard position, its GG.
Of course playstyle a matter of taste, but boring it is not, good Sir. Especially on higher levels of play, you constantly have to account for what your enemy might do, and how far he adapted to your combos. It's not simply pressing the same cookie cutter combo all over. Actually, it's pretty rare that I really get a full combo in, and if I do, I win. Better opponents get me after the 2nd or 3rd hit, and then the question "what now?" is in your head. The fun thing with the berserker is, there are actually a lot of possibilities how to fare further, and that's his strong side: you can change from offense to defense back to offense in a whiff, IF you know how to do it. But you need to be very flexible, and your combo potential needs to be pretty dynamic. If I do the same 7 keystrokes over and over again, a good enemy will adapt in no time and kill it before it even really starts.

Berserker is actually the best assassin, and probably the best character in the game. He has an infinite, unblockable combo and 3 hyper armored moves. Just admit you don't know how to play him, but he's not underpowered...like, by no mean. I'd nerf him personally. Infinite+unblockable=no good.

Let's wait a few weeks. I could bet the Berserker won't be seen as a weak character then, although an underdog, maybe.
Hey Gewalt add me on ubi! my nickname Erekosee, I want to train more with berserker I played quite a bit, but still found very difficult to pull some attacks and win.

Sent you an invite. I don't know yet when I'll find some time this week, but I'm happy to do some sparring with you when we can arrange it Don't take me for the best, though. I'm also still pretty new to the game and struggling with some mechanics. But I think I at least know in theory and in short bursts what the berserker is capable of.

No unblockables, his chains only give him hyper armor if the attacks land not if they're blocked and if you cant block 4 of his hits that have to be landed before the hyper armor activates you have other issues. Also if you block his light you get a free GB. If you played at a high level you would not call him the best character in the game. At a high level chains are impossible to land and thus makes the hyper armor and dauntless useless.

This is the root of the problem with him, he steamrolls through newer people but anybody who knows his simple but amazing combos can easily block his hits, you might get one or even two in but never enough for Dauntless
Thing is you should never even get in more than one or two hits on skilled players at a time, so this passive seems completely pointless and downright detrimental to him, at least in my eyes, the ease of blocking and even parrying outweigh the reward for dauntless everytime.

In general i think the risk/reward of the assassins is currrently not worth it, the extra offensive capability isnt worth the lower health and defensive capability, anybody can parry and deflect isnt worth the risk on any character.
This problem is that you need to outplay an opponent by too large of a margin to make it worth it

Does Berserker need rework? Maybe please read the passage

I have played berserker since I got for honor and have big problem with that when U wanna combo with berserker U should use your heavy attack and every time I used that I have been parried and I can not even cancel it while in the combo I know that U can cancel heavy top attack but in chain no berserker is a good hero with good damage but could easy parried and dodged ubisoft pls rework on berserker at least make his defense permanently
