I'd buy the beta version as it is right now for around £20/£25 to be honest. The fight mechanics alone are fantastic and everything in the game looks great visually.
If they fix up the connectivity issues and give us access to the 3 missing characters as well as all the executions from previous betas then I'd happily buy it for £30. £40 is far too steep for what is essentially going to be a couple of PvP modes and maps. The story may be good but truthfully this game is primarily an always online PvP mode.
This is just my opinion ofcourse and I don't mean it to bash the game, I love everything about For Honor! Except the horrible connectivity issues. That being said £40 is too steep a price for me considering that I bought an absolutely huge game like Elite Dangerous including a whole 2 years (got unexpectedly extended from 1 to 2 years) of Season pass content updates for £40. This is what I have to measure up games that want £40 from me, no matter how fun and refreshingly unique they may be - I am unfortunately not made of money.

Get a job ya bum? New releases have been sixty dollars since the dawn of 360/PS3 days. Why it seems so steep now for everyone is beyond me.Originally Posted by Fa3r. Go to original post
Not only do you entirely miss the point, you make yourself sound even more stupid. Your lack of awareness and mental depth will have you working your *** off your entire life. You're the exact type of person that allows your money to be taken unquestioned. I wish you luck sir, you're gonna need it.Originally Posted by Godsplitter1991 Go to original post

Oh look a fact.

Says here that people used their brains back in dem days and waited for price drops via sales, bundles, platinum editions and the passage of time. Seems some people don't need to feed instant gratification and are happy to play old games until newer ones become cheaper. Shocking, I know...
