    Problems of For Honor

    Being employed in a gaming industry myself, im gonna post my thoughts about For Honor , and leave this topic for good , im not gonna argue with all the trolls and random ppl who will run into this topic thinknig they know better. Now that we got this out of the way, here i go :

    1. Netcode. Plain and simple its ****. P2P sucks , matchmaking sucks, player skill level is calculated by KDA, which can be boosted by playing Elimination all the time , but the player is still complete garbage that cant feint,cancel, parry , deflect , nothing.

    2. The way you, Ubisoft, designed the game - it is not meant to be played in brackets apart from 1v1. Yes, u can block multiple attackers but you can never retaliate. All you trolls whos gonna start shouting "git gud" , "Yes i actually win 1v4 24/7" can go F yourself , its a straight up lie. No you cant. And revenge doesnt give you crap, sometimes it doesnt even push the opponents back.

    3. Class balance. My favourite part. PKs and Nobushis are OP broken characters. And here is why, again , i dont give a flying crap about trolls who will be defending these classes and telling me to git gud, I AM GOOD, trust me on that. Here are the reasons why they are op :

    ITS NOT ABOUT THE BLEEDING. Ubisoft nerfed the bleeding, which basically gave PK and Nobu scrubs a reason to say "oooh we got nerfed har har har, we are so weak". ********. Bleeding was not the problem. The problem is PKS insane attack speed + almost 0 stamina cost, which COMBINED with P2P = almost impossible to parry a PK. "SO DONT PARRY" - trolls gonna say. Right. What then? They dash back, and we are back in footsie game again. If , in a perfect situation , 2 players are of similar skill level - Neutral game doesnt give advantage to none of duelists , however, in offense - pk has a CLEAR damn advantage. Its not the bleeding that shouldve been nerfed - i dont give a crap about bleeding , pls , bring it back to 100% dmg. ITS THE DAMN STAMINA COST so they cant spam their fast light attacks, mix it up with GBs and then backdash and run away.

    (Little addition. So they nerfed the bleeding of PK which is completely ****ing useless nerf, and they think its fine, BUT they nerfed the hell out of warlord which is slow AF, damages less than a kitten, starves of stamina after 2-3 actions and they even took away the guaranteed Heavy attack after shield bash parry. How is that logical? Shield bash parry is a skill check of a player - not everyone can do that. Shouldnt it reward the player that performs it? It should. Does it? Nope. I tested it with my pal, Heavy after shield bash parry is NOT guaranteed. SO technically, Warlord has almost no options to land a heavy attack, again, im talking about ideal situations when both players know what theyre doing. )

    Same goes for nobushi, PLUS one huge thing - Nobushi is the ONLY class in the game that is COMPLETELY immune to punishes. This is beyond stupid. What were you thinking ubisoft? What were your testers thinking? Even when Nobushi is up against the wall - the game still decides that u cant land a guaranteed GB after parry. So basically - THERE IS NO POINT in parrying Nobushi. How else do we beat them? They have speed/stamina cost/range advantage. So basically its always like fighting a Boss character. Defensively - she cant be parried, offensively - Nobu is superior, neutral game - superior. Its like fighting Shao Khan in MK9 on highest difficulty with 1 exception - Shao Khan is an AI that can be forced to do certain moves and cheesed out, while a decent human player just takes advantage and thats it.

    4. Just a little addition : why call the game "For Honor" and then build it in such way that encourages the most dishonorable stuff ever? You gave ppl the ability to apply bleed and run. You gave ppl the ability to run from you in Elimination (and since u run at the same speed - theoretically it can go on forever), you gave the ability to push you of the ledge in a 1v1 match. I understand that in 4v4 but 1v1? Pfff...And again - i dont need comments like "oh git gud just counter guard break" , i do that , thank you very much ,and i almost never get thrown of the ledge , but it doesnt negate the fact that this scrubbiness in the game exists.

    Ah, feels a little better. Like i said - trolls , you shouldnt even bother responding. I am aware of my experience and skill level, and my professional history in gaming, so unless you are a fellow gamedev , i dont really care what you have to say. To those people who actually fight honorably, who try to become better players, who train and learn instead of picking PK and spamming guardbgreak - much love to you and hope to see you on the battlefield.

    i don't accept your 3rd and 4th point.If the peacekeeper and nobushi are so OP. Then how am i been able to beat some peacekeeper and nobushi. It all depends on the player skill of both characters.
    You have to just anticipate what they are going to do and counter and attack.Every hero has his own weakness and strengths.Some heroes are strong against someone and weak against another.It all come downs to the player skill of both characters in the duel.

    now the reasons why they have kept ledge kills in 1v1 are

    1)so that a weaker player can still have a fighting chance in the duel.

    2)In combat,we have to mind our surroundings.It's being realistic.In real life a single mistake in battle can make lose your life.The same goes to all the other environmental kill in the game.There are counters to guard break than just counterGB. You can roll. if you are attacking the GB wont work.

    I'm agree with Thora

    This game has too many bugs and the entire game will come in 2 days ! It's a shame, moreover the samurai are op, indeed. Actually i can't play a dominion match because the game have an error. I don't want to play anymore at this game without fix. And the matchmaking is a joke. I have some screen to prove that. When my team are level 3-4-5 and me 15, the ennemy are level 21,22,21,23 with an equipment lvl 47 !

    Broke as phuck

    I beat the game on realistic in 3 days and I am nearly unstoppable in 1v1. "Realistic" LOL. NOTHING REALISTIC ABOUT IT!!! should be called "cheesy phucking cheating". This game should not be called "For Honor" when it does the most dishonorable things (like your own AI boxing you in a hallway so you can't reverse and then she stabs you in the back breaking your combos so you get killed by a tank sandwich). Also the stamina system is PHUCKED!!! developers need to get their fat candy asses off the ****in couch and go to the gym!!! OR AT LEAST TALK TO SOME REAL WARRIORS!!! True warriors can go for HOURS AND HOURS without getting tired!!! We are supposed to be representing some epic warriors!!! Why are all the characters such pussies??? What about the DISHONORABLE act of making female Samurai?!?!?! HOW IS DESECRATING JAPANESE CULTURE HONORABLE?!?!?! CAN YOU MAKE THE VALKYRIE A MAN??? NO SO WHY CAN YOU MAKE THE SAMURAI A WOMAN??? Why don't other fighting games use stamina??? BECAUSE TRUE WARRIORS DON'T GET WORE OUT LIKE PAPER BYOTCHES!!!

    WHEN YOUR STAMINA GOES DOWN IN REAL LIFE AFTER HOURS OF COMBAT YOU GET WEAKER!!! YOU DON'T FALL OVER LIKE A *****!!!

    Orochi looses stamina in 1-3 blocked hits depending... (I've gone from FULL stamina to ZERO stamina in one hit for some reason I can't figure out) does he have epilepsy?

    Could have been such an amazing game...

    Multi player is amazing. "stamina" needs to be replaced by "stun" effects. Its not even remotely "real stamina" to begin with so why add it to the game???

    Adding stupid crippling effects and giving them labels like "stamina" is a con and is for stupid byotch *** pussies.

    Perhaps if there were no stamina drain on light attacks and only stamina for heavy or "special" attacks that would be reasonable.

    ALSO the "sprint while exhausted" feat never works!!!

    Rocksalittle... No. Just No. The female Samurai is based on an important part of Japanese culture. Why are you speaking about a culture that you clearly don't understand? In fact, don't you feel weird making a declaration without researching and somehow thinks it's true? What on earth prompted you to believe that there were no female Samurais.

    Try this, GOOGLE "female Samurai", see what you get. It's a simple exercise.

    It's a dead give-away is the naginata. I mean I understand if you don't know something, that's fine. There's a whole lot you don't know, but why are you commenting on it IN THE AFFIRMATIVE? That's like some idiot going to Quantum Computer literature and says something completely random but says it with such authority... ROFL. Give it a break.

    As for the OP, What you said has some merit, but only at a low level. You are at a frame advantage off any block on a PK's Light Attack. Which means after a block, you are free to start your own mixup game and go on the offensive. Feint / GB / Light Attack / Dodge Attack... Whatever. That's EVEN IF YOU CAN'T parry, you can still block. So even mediocre players should not have problem against PK spamming. Spamming PK is the best kind for my Orochi. I can't beat good Warlods or Wardens, but PK was food for my Orochi (and obviously my Warden / Warlord as well).

    Warlord needed a nerf, and quite frankly it wasn't enough. Warlord still have one of the MOST SOLID defense + punish game. Yes, it lacks a good 50/50 at this point BUT it still has great trade options with heavies and feints into blocking Lights. I still don't have a problem breaking through defenses with my Warlord (which I can't do with a PK).

    If you read the posts on this forum, it follows one distinct pattern. Noobs can't beat spamming... lol... It's like when some non-gamer plays Street Fighter and gets owned by a simple Ryu Hadoken spam (omfg!) There's literally nothing worse than predictability in a fighting game. I would fight a spamming PK over a defensive Warlord any given day.
