The following are my recommendations for game improvement.
1) Unnecessary waiting. This game has way too much just sitting around in menus for no reason.
2) Grouping with friends. When you play with a group of 4, it is a miracle if someone doesn't get dropped prior to getting in game.
3) Sprinting away when hurt. This absolutely needs to be taken out. At least half of the time, when an enemy is extremely hurt, they just sprint away and the aggressor is unable to catch or finish them off. When chasing hurt enemies, you should run faster or they should not be able to run as fast. Or add some sort of thrown weapon to slow them. Something.
4) The game needs more executes. 3 executes? Really? Tenchu Stealth Assassin from 1998 had more executes than this game. If the entire goal is to execute an enemy, we should be rewarded with awesome / copious ones. Not the same boring 3 executes over and over again. There needs to be 20 plus for each character in my opinion.
5) My character has gotten stuck at the top of ladders numerous times. Literally couldn't move, had to wait for an enemy to come hit me.
All in all, this game has not come very far (game play wise) from its initial stages. A let down to say the least.
1) I absolutely agree. The time between matches is far too long. It's only made worse when 1 person is left to ready up, resulting in 2 or 3 people leaving to rejoin the queue because it's faster. And then that 1 person readies up and guess what? Now we have 5 or fewer players and we've all been kicked back to the menu, thus wasting any and all time we spent waiting for people to ready up for the next match. 2) I've also had issues here. It's completely random whether someone on my friend list can join my group or whether they suddenly have to invite me. It's considerably worse with 3 or 4 in a group. I can go from hosting the party fine to one person getting dropped and being unable to rejoin. At that point, someone else has to host the party and reinvite EVERYONE. It's tiresome. Similarly, if the match you're in gets disbanded due to lack of players, your group gets disbanded too! Frustrating having to resend invites so often (made, again, worse with the entirely-too-cumbersome SHIFT+F2 keybind to open the Uplay overlay to accept the in-game invite.
3) I disagree; at least in DOMINION. The goal isn't always to kill the opposing player, but to keep them from doing anything constructive for their team. If you get someone low and they turn tail to run and heal, let 'em! That's time they're not pushing B or fighting another of your teammates, allowing you to double-team others (do so smartly! Don't spam attacks, wait for them to attack or opportunities to guardbreak so they don't build revenge as fast). Conversely, if you chase this injured player, you're ALSO now doing nothing constructive for your team and risk getting led into more enemies where you can get ganked fast.
4) It would definitely be nice to have more Execution animations. However, they're not the goal. They are a risk vs reward and should be used appropriately.
5) I've only seen this once personally, but several times in videos on YouTube and such. It hasn't happened to me yet, but I imagine I'll be frustrated to all hell if it does. I try to unstuck anyone in that state, even enemies.
