P2P Networking is the worst, we really need dedicated servers!

People drop match so often that the p2p really is an issue. It kills momentum when it occurs and we all shouldn't have to suffer because someone's pizza is arrived.

    P2P Blows

It's sad that this is a only a Beta (Actually an open demo) and that people are quitting because they lose a duel or their team isn't carrying them through a match. What's it going to be like when the game releases for good? I can see quitting and host changing being a huge problem. I've been kicked out of tons of games just today due to someone leaving. It's happened so much since yesterday, I'm considering cancelling buying the game entirely. Ubisoft, stop being a bunch cheap corporate ******bags and just get some dedicated servers, it's barely more expensive. It'll make the player base stay longer and feel balanced during matches. People won't have to deal with being kicked out and losing all that hard earned points for the faction war.

On top of players leaving. Players who are fighting another player in a brawl or something and quit because they are about to lose should not be replaced by a full health/stamina A.I. That's ridiculous. If someone quits, then make it so no A.I. spawns until the next round. Sure it'll suck for the other person, but how is it fair to the person who just fought that player and was just about to deliver the final blow, only to be killed by a full health A.I. That's more unfair. I'm not sure if Ubisoft penalizes quitters either since I haven't quit mid match, but if not, then that definitely needs to be implemented. Put them in Low Priority match making with other quitters or make the points they earn less depending on how many times they have quit. Hell, lock them from joining multiplayer for a determined amount of time. Do something.

Agreed. This happened a little in the Closed beta but wasnt too annoying. With the increase in players for this Open beta it has become almost unbearable. Every single game i have played in the Open has suffered hosts leaving and/or me simply being kicked back out to the menus - that is if i can even get into a game. I am being kicked out to the menus during the matchmaking process a lot as well

    Agreed.

Its 2017, its ridiculous to think that in 2017 there is still a need for a AAA company/title to be using p2p as their connection method on a PC game. Regardless of how good your p2p+ is, its not going to be as good as dedicated servers.

If the p2p continues to be as horrible as it is the PC version of this game is going to die quickly, its already having massive issues in the beta and i dont see much changing on launch around the p2p aspect.

They need to take the route that Overwatch has done and have on hidden on demand dedicated servers that are created each time you join the game. This allows them to keep the match making as it is, but allows players to experience minimal ping related issues/advantages as you do with p2p.

    Poor choice Ubisoft, Poor choice.
