Agreed. Pretty annoying to have to go tag the same supply your friend just tagged.

This should be a thing but only when that person is within a certain range of the resource. Or else 4 people could just completely split up and start gathering.

Good idea. Since there's no tether in the game, team mates could be clear across the map. They should all have to be within the particular AO.

As much as I'd love that, we know it would never happen. But shared resource tagging is a must, doesn't make sense that the same fireteam needs to put 4 GPS tags on the exact same thing, the rebels would get there and think why the hell is this barrel covered in GPS trackers....
You're right, I forget you guys are talking about Co-Op farming and not so much about Co-Op shooting. Still, Ghost Difficulty should not have it for those that could give 3 rats *** about it... in the spirit of player's freedom

It's a mechanic that doesn't help gameplay other than to artificially draw out hours. No one will play this game for the supply tagging element. No one.

It also doesn't help plausibility. The idea is that the rebels will find the supplies because you've put a tracker on it? But they should just be able to show up and take it from the dead base I just cleared!

"But what if someone came and moved the supplies?"

Then they are in the hands of the cartel again, and not just free for the taking! If the rebels can take supplies just based on knowing where they are and damn the number of guys defending them... Then why do I have to tag them in the first place?! The rebels could just roam around knocking off cartel bases for the supplies themselves at that point.

The whole process is pretty ridiculous.

    Agreed

Playing in a 4 man group and this just seems so stupid, waiting inline behind my 3 friends to tag the same supplies for the same rebels

After the beginning part of the game we realized how pointless these supplies where anyway as they give you 50? While on side missions gives you 2000-3000!! The supplies are not worth taking the time with.

And yes one of our team took up the role of the sniper and we had to wait for her to loot the base while we where eager to take off

Twice during the early part of the game she forgot to loot weapon supplies too as she felt rushed when we are all grouped and ready to go, its not a great gameplay element at all, it needs some attention

If you're grouped up, one person should be able to perform these tasks for the whole group. This would also improve efficiency of Ops. Each team member could be tasked with a different item as you move through the AO. Hoping you guys can make this happen before launch.
YES! I said the exact same thing! I hope they fix this. This was my biggest issue with the beta.

I enjoyed the convoy chases, but apart from that I would agree. A more realist approach would be to tag via visual I.D. and then radio in the grid locations of static assets. The whole team could benefit from this mechanic too

But they're not "gathering", they're placing a GPS marked on a supply for a 3rd party to collect and reward the "ghosts" team.

The individual who placed it has absolutely no relevance.

Yeah, resources are shared when we complete the side jobs, I don't see why it would be unreasonable to share tagged resources in the same way.
