And what are you doing here then? You came in yesterday but think you have it all figured out do you? You want to hold hands and sing Kumbaya... good for you

Ask yourself this question... what are you doing here if you like the game so much? Shouldn't you be by the email waiting for the download?
Calm down there Kemosabe... I was replying to ThePollie's comment on the dev's compromising to release half-baked games "to be able to keep bringing home the bread". This literally had nothing to do with me, or you, or anyone besides Ubisoft.

Maybe if you actually took the time to read what I said, instead of finding a way to make it about you, then you would be able to create a more accurate statement.

But honestly, from what I have seen, you have this nasty habit of arguing simply for the sake of arguing...

That is literally how almost every job works. If game developers are exempt from this, I was unaware.

But when customers complain, clueless or not, their complaints are all that matters. The video game industry is not exempt from customer complaints just because other customers obsess with apologies for the company. If the game developers work for said corporation then they are fair game for customer complaints. They are not exempt from criticism.

Exactly. They are just picking up a check like most of the rest of us. And will be picking up a check next year somewhere else.

You miss my point. I'm saying that it's not fair to criticize the individual developer unless they are singularly the one at fault (however unlikely). If I were a single developer, busting my a** for a game, I would hate being ridiculed by the community simply for being a part of the project and not having a say in the overall final product. Again, we ridicule anyone and everyone who has part in the project without having a true understanding of the entire system.

I laugh at the fact that people think these developers should "stand up" and "speak out" if the companies are placing ridiculous demands. At the end of the day, they have to make money. We live in that same society.

I've read most of this forum and cannot find a single place where an individual developer has been called out.

But if they work for the company, both individually and collectively they are responsibility for subpar product. If they get their feelings hurt from customer complaints then perhaps they should consider therapy. The customer has a right and in many cases a duty to complain. Games need more complainers and less sycophants.
