You sir, obviously don't know what "YOU" are talking about, and i find it quite hilarious you claim otherwise with out testing things for urself... Please go test things before you come here giving out false info.Originally Posted by Abomination713 Go to original post
Edit: also for the record, they have both nurfed and buffed warden in past beta builds. Get your facts str8
In what world is the Warden underpowered? He has his shoulder charge, that can be abused for a 50/50 hit or grab. He has one of the best (if not the best) poking / harassing tool available in his zone attack. His top parry of a light attack is also really strong. Not counting the fact that is top light is also insanely fast.
I don't get it. What do you people who vote he is underpowered do when playing him? What would you buff?

I mean are you trolling here sir? Have you even done the tutorial yet? Do you know there is a tool built in the game for "ALL" heroes called "DODGE" its seriously not that complex sir I strongly advise you to learn the basics of the game before commenting on balance issues.
Easy ~Originally Posted by R3turner Go to original post
1.) Rebuff "Crushing Counter" to have same window as a "Parry"
2.) Speed up shoulder bash to make it more difficult to "DODGE" lol dodge
3.) Increase Wardens dodge speed slightly, Increase dodge distance by no less than 0.5m
These are just my simple suggestions and should you sir or anyone else disagree on these 3 key things please include "Why"
Thank you in advance.
I saw a very similar list by different people. They ****ed the Berserker, but the fact that Conqueror's can GB after a heavy block is balanced out by the fact that they get screwed if someone blocks their light attack which in my opinion is a lot more valuable than a heavy attack. This puts that at a disadvantage to everyone else still. Serously, who throws out heavy attacks anymore? They are so easy to parry that most people just stick to light attacks. That should not be the case for anyone and it should be patched. I don't think anyone should get punished for being blocked. That's what parries are for. Also, do you seriously believe that 90% of the players in the beta know about this? This info has no effect on the Conqueror in most peoples minds since most people don't even know about it. They just think they are OP cause they have no idea how to fight.Originally Posted by Smee92 Go to original post
Show me your proof. The only changes they have made since the closed alpha were to Storm Rush, how deflect works, and something to do with the Berserker I believe. They also made a couple of changes from the closed to the open beta which you can find here http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...A-Patch-Notes?. They have never touched the Warden.Originally Posted by ZechsMarquize Go to original post

2.) Only if they increase the speed of my shield bash to match the Warlords headbutt
3.) I want to dodge 180 degrees around my opponent.
This is very wrong. You do not get a free heavy from a parry. Also, you can dodge the shield charge. But even if you get hit by the charge, you can still parry the follow-up heavy. This is why most players do a light after the charge, but in many cases the charge pushes the enemy too far away to be able to hit him. Lastly, the heavy + shield charge combo takes a lot of stamina so you can't spam it that much.Originally Posted by whovie Go to original post
You do know that you can cancel the shoulder bash into a GB? Warden is currently EXTREMELY good and does not need a buff of any kind. He has two very fast attacks: top light and zone attack. Due to their speed, both of these are practically un-parryable, which makes them safe openers/harassers. You can even use them as counter-attacks. He also gets a guaranteed side heavy from a GB. Then he can follow this up with a heavy feint and GB again for another guaranteed side heavy. Additionally Warden has good range, good mix-ups, good feints and guaranteed 2nd side light. Do you really need more?Originally Posted by ZechsMarquize Go to original post
Let me start of by saying that i find this an amazing game. I really like the knights, they look amazing and are fun to play. I voted that the conquerer and the peacekeeper are overpowered, but i mean this mainly in the way that they need work. They are not overpowered in the sence of they are strong and unbeatable. But they are overpowered in the sence that they are too easy to play for what they bring to the field.
The conquerer is for me the most annoying character in this game. His superior-blocks of all attacks make him impossible to attack or combo properly. The only thing that really works on a conquerer who knows how to block (which you can learn in 20 minutes) is guard break. If a conquerer has learned how to stop a guard break there is nothing you can do to damage him. This wouldn't be such a problem if his offensive power wasn't as high as it is. His light attack spam can go for ages. And his charged heavy attack is too fast for it's damage.
Again, he isn't overpowered in the sence that he can not be beaten, but in the sence that he is way to easy to play and way too hard to deal with.
I have the same feeling with the peacekeeper on two aspects. Don't get me wrong, again she isn't overpowered in the sence that she will defeat anyone with ease and she needs some pratice to play correctly. But i want to talk about her guard break... Her guard break is the one thing i find way too strong about this character. It is fairly easy to pull off and the 3 follow up stabs will bleed most chars for half their health. That is too high for how easy it is to do. Second i feel that her passive that makes her 'invisible' in the 4v4 modes a bit out of place. She doesn't need it and it gives her an unfair advantage that she doesn't need and isn't balanced by any downsides for her.
The Knights are a tricky class to dissect. The Conqueror is annoying but I disagree with many people calling him OP. His block all mechanic is cumbersome but it simply opens the door for a guard break and light attack combo. I've also been playing since the Closed Beta so I've had more time to adjust to him than other players. Now the Warden and Peacekeeper are both the worse in my opinion.
The Warden has excellent blocking and attacking speed making some of their combos feel unblockable. The only thing I believe that needs to be done with them is maybe make their attacking speed ever so slightly less than whatever it's currently sitting at. After all, they're in a full body set of armor.
The Peacekeeper is without a doubt the hardest opponent to battle in the game (I primarily play as an Orochi). Their lunging bleed attack **feels** like it has the same effective distance as the Nibushi. I'm sure it doesn't but that's how it feels. If any class double dodges away the only class that should be able to get a hit in is the Nibushi (or any pole using class) in my opinion. I also believe their combo with guard break right into an unblockable attack should be re-examined. Honestly, I believe this entire class should be changed from Medium difficulty to Hard and adjust their combos as such.
Firstly I have been enjoying this game immensely. Most of the combat, outside of the terrible enemy lock change mechanic, is perfectly balanced. In fact, I have no complaints about almost all of the nine available heroes. Just one. The peacekeeper is overpowered. (Shocked gasp, but not really because nobody is surprised by that)
Wardens are amazingly balanced and fun to play. They have an equal focus on defense and offense. I originally started with the warden, and I honestly think the best way to learn to play is by playing a warden.
Conquerors are pretty balanced as well. My main is a conq, and I've found that I never even use the "block all" function due to the fact that it exhausts you after two-four hits, and if you enter exhaustion while blocking all you get knocked down. The only thing I've found confusing is that my conqueror is described as a "heavy-hitter" and his attacks are dead slow as you would expect a heavy hitter to be. However, his attacks are heavy only in that they are so sluggish, outside of their speed it's like hitting enemies with a mace of flower petals. For attacks that are so easy to block as the Conqueror telegraphs his attacks for the whole world, they are surprisingly weak. Despite that, it's till the most fun hero I've played.
Now, Peacekeepers. Here's the issue. They have too much health for a character with so much speed. They're troll heroes to begin with, simply stealthing around and running away from fights, and stabbing people when they're having fun fighting fair and balanced fights with LITERALLY ANY OTHER HERO. I've been killed by peacekeepers more than any other character, and the reason why is not that they fight me with any skill, it's that they attack with their nearly unstoppable guard brakes or grapple attacks out of stealth and cause me to bleed to death. I would be able to hand all that, I suppose, if it weren't for the fact that they can survive nearly anything by just running away. You can't catch them with most heroes, and they have nearly as much health as the warden. My "heavy-hitter" conqueror has to connect 4 or more heavy attacks to kill a peacekeeper. That's nearly the same as any other hero in the game. If peacekeepers are going to have so much health, they should have their speed cut. If their speed is not cut, they should have their health halved. Playing the peacekeeper is the most forgiving experience in the game. As any other hero, if you miss a block you're going to be punished for it. As a peacekeeper, however, you can take 2-3 hits, run away (and no one can catch you) and go heal yourself. Peacekeepers should be punished in combat as much as any other character. There should be an immediate danger for them when entering combat because they can only take 1-2 hits from a heavy hitter. Instead, peacemakers can run headlong into combat, block break and bleed, and then run away, all while taking 3-4 hits before they even have to consider running away.
In short, if the peacemaker is to be the stealth-based light attacker she is supposed to be, she shouldn't have so much health and speed together that she can run into a group of people fighting with little to no repercussions. She should be forced to think strategically and time her attacks perfectly, which can be accomplished by either cutting her speed or health so the hero isn't so forgiving to play. (
The peacekeeper should have been left in assassin's creed where it came from, but if that hero is to be in this game, at least maker her work for it.
