I am not buying this mockery of a game

The game itself, is amazing. Love the gameplay, love the way the game looks and feels.

BUT the game is made by Ubisoft. And that means a ****LOAD of bugs in the UI of the game. I was just kicked out of 7 consecutive matches, which makes the game, quite literally, unplayable. Me and my friends gets errors joining each other, finding games takes an eternity, when we get a game either one of us, or both of us gets kicked after 1 or 2 matches.

And we're from completely different continents, with completely different setups and both of us are quite well informed in how to spot errors in our own setups - he studied for 4 years, and I've been an isolated geek since I was 7.

Bottom line is - this game is broken - as is the rest of Ubisofts games - which saddens me grealy, because all of their games itself are, quite frankly, amazing, BUT they somehow manage to **** up all the little things which I have to go through (and continue to go through) to play the game.

Menus, client interface, social interfaces, etc.

Ubisoft, here is my advice to you, either find out what you are doing wrong, or replace your entire technical team, because either you have someone sabotaging your games or your technical teams got their grades through a vending machine in Eastern Asia.

    With much love and concern,
    Tim.

The problem isn't ubisoft the problem is the connection between you and your friend. If your statement is true ("we're from completely different continents") then you answer the question to your problem.

Sorry, but at this level of ... internet, to be quite simple in my choice of words, that shouldnt be a problem. I've played all kinds of online games (from FPS, MMO's and MOBAS), and other off line games with online co op campaign options, with people ALL over the world, and i never found that to be a problem, except with Ubisoft games. They are not a small publisher , releasing second grade games. And especially For Honor is not such a game. Or at least it shouldn't be.

Most of those games you played had dedicated servers. This is p2p. It's you. Surprised you didn't realize that. I mean with over 10 years of experience between y'all.

Does the word 'irony' mean anything to you?

Two completely different setups, on computers on different CONTINENTS....and it's all the games fault, utterly broken, waaah.

    Yeah...

And i am surprised that you did not realize that i am a completely different person from the one who started this thread, dude. We all make mistakes.
Btw nearly all of us here understand that its p2p, and we are criticizing exactly that. Why use p2p over dedicated servers? Ubisoft is not a small publishing studio that cannot afford dedicated servers and it is ruining their own investment into AA+ titles.

Yeah it's a f*** shame. Game is awesome and I love it but it's totally unplayable because of errors / DC and matchmaking problems almost every game. Couldnt finish a match for about 2 hours (every time at some point Im getting some error and exit to main screen. Good job Ubi, it really required hard work to f** up this game so hard...

    oh you.

so the fact that p2p is a ubisoft decision.

the fact that P2P was considered a bad decision from everyone in the world except ubisoft

the fact that this open beta happens 5 days BEFORE release and there are lots of problems

yeah, maybe, just maybe, that was the meaning of the complaining storming the forum..but who knows...probasbly if someone can play, good, game is ready.

It is Ubisofts problem cause if people are smart they should never never never ever buy a P2P game. When they get dedicated servers then I will try out the game again and see if Its worthy of my money but until then no cash for you Ubisoft.

As with other threads around the forums, i'll be closing this up. Remember everyone, you're more than welcome to express your feedback and opinions, but please do so without the arguing and profanity. Neither are needed here.
