You can invert the mouse (Y axis) for looking around, but it doesn't work for guard mode (when fighting). Having to move the mouse up to block up is counterintuitive for me. I tried binding "guard up" to moving the mouse down but it seems it only recognises keys.
Please fix this so I can play. Thank you in advance.
Sorry for the necro.
Found this from a google result while trying to resolve exactly the same issue.
Have I missed a setting, or can we seriously not invert the vertical guard controls?
It makes no sense to me that this feature is missing.
I play inverted all the time, then suddenly when I need to guard, my axis is reversed. It's incredibly difficult to adapt to.
Hi there!
Thank you for bringing this our way. We would recommend creating a support ticket with regard to this for further review from our technical teams here: https://goo.gl/eaujLL
Here is the response I received.....

So I responded to query further and got the following response.
With that being said, UbiWvlf, is there anything further you can do to assist? Even if it simply involves bringing the devs attention to this post (or many of the others like it).Hello XVyper123,
Welcome back to Ubisoft Customer Support. My name is Alex and I´m sorry for the inconvenience this situation has lifted. As a gamer I understand your concern completely, I often struggle with controls to my own failure.
In Ubisoft, we always take customers feedback into consideration and we always redirect them to the appropriate channels, in order to fully present their ideas and to gather extra relevant information.
As such, like my previous colleague mentioned, the forum is a viable alternative to this matter. Our technical department is not truly meant to deal with these sort of assessments.
However, I´m thankful that you maintain a strong dedication to one of our products and I strongly hope that our developers take note of your opinions, as part of the For Honor community.
Respectfully
Alex
