    Side dodge GB would be a great tool for Kensei, but it honestly sounds quite broken. Many attack would miss Kensei and get an untech-able GB. Although, there are many more cheese tactic in the game than this ever would be. So I think it could work.

    I'd also give Kensei unique ability to be able to feint his light attack. His lights are as slow as some character's heavy. Kensei being the -mind game- based character, I'd think this would help him greatly.

    Although, I have no idea how to make Kensei better against turtles. Slow attacks are just too easy to block when you are fully concentrating on defense, doesn't matter how much feints are threw in.

    Overall, I'd hope they buff Kensei's options rather than stats. The only stats buff I want is his stamina cost. Kensei needs that buff to make feints that can get through high level player's defense.
    Overall buffing the kensei is neccecary but difficult. First of all they should give him this sideattack heavy combo back. it was a good and solid tool to confuse the enemy but it was readable too.But i think this is not enough. The kensei need something more than that. he is too much a basic charakter. He has nothing special what makes him unique. his UB attack is just overhead and every time the third hit in a chain, what makes it easy to red. Maybe they should make it like the UB from the raider. its very universal in its usage. Or thes should make the Light attacks more attractive. Not interruptable light attacks after blocking would make the "Flow" of the kensei moveset even more stronger and viable. I mean, his light attacks are slow, and the combo also stops on block? thats a bit too much, Apart from his top light, the others are nearly useless cuz the most of the other chars can throw their light much faster than the kensei. Uninterruptable light chains on block (maybe the warlord, valk and conq still can block them) should help the kensei to get out of this: I have to wait on my oponnent to do dmg and lower this horrible horrible mind game duell. Dont misunderstand me, i like the mind gaming in this game, but all actions of the kensei are based on this against average to good players. thats boring slow and doesnt work on turtles....

    I really don't want him to get any cheese abilities so I like the idea of him being able to feint lights to make his mind games stronger. Maybe being able to cancel some heavy attacks into unblockable lights would make him better at confusing his opponents and throwing off their parry timing.

    The Kensei's light attacks need to be faster. I was doing a custom 5000 point Dom match against lvl 2s, and I didn't realize how slow his light side attacks were.

    Another thought I have is to give Kensei unique property to extend the feinting time on his attacks.

    What I mean by that is give Kensei the ability to actually cancel his attacks right before the impact.
    Right now I see a big problem on Kensei is that, even if you feint your *** off to bait a parry, his heavies are just too slow, and the feint window is too early in the animation.

    So, when you feint your heavy, the opponent won't have to do anything since the timing for the parry isn't even there yet and the attack is cancelled.

    If Kensei can drag out his feint window it would be a lot easier to bait a parry. I don't want Kensei to be buffed into the cheesy "I attack so fast that you can't react" character or "I am gonna make you play a guessing game, if you guess wrong you eat damage" type of character. I want him to be someone that tricks the hell out of the opponent and make their brain hurt. But to do that, he needs more options. Lots more.

    Exactly my thoughts on this hero. I mean in reality nodachi would be slower than a regular katana since it's longer and broader, but shouldn't be worse like an axe or halberd. I think he's attack speed needs to improve a little.

    I really like the idea of extending his feint windo so the opponent has to decide if they will try to parry. I think that would drastically improve the mind game aspect of kensei. It might also help him if he could change guard direction during a dodge because right now his dodge block guard break is useless against any fast attacks and it can be countered by feints easily.

    What would he do with more combos if all are parried? What he needs is either more stamina, or one uninterruptible side-heavy chain-starter, or a hidden-guard stance.

    Increase speed of his light attacks. Add an option (maybe sides?) for a 2 hit combo instead of 3 to reach unblockable so we can access it earlier. Wider feint window. And yes, better ZA too. Maybe allow us to change direction of attack during swift strike coz it's one of our openers.

    Main kensei and problem is. His attacks are to slow,They are the most easy to parry, Doesn't have one opener on offense (warlord headbutt conq shoulder bash) I find it insane that ubi is fixing overpowered characters like pk and not even touching the worse ones (walord conq) but taking moves from kensei who is hands down the most balanced one in this game. He's TOO balanced and there are classes in this game that are broken this is why he needs a buff or other classes need nerfs. Like heavy characters aren't even slower then other clases except assassins and have more of a kit then everyone.

    I hope ubi considers and balances heroes based on how they do on all levels of play (low to high), and just not base it on the win/loss % statistics. That is just not how heroes should be balanced as that is very superficial.
