Pretty close
No real opionion
Not even close
i agree with XI_SKTR
But i cant really say are there balanced or not, some of them feel still the same like the Warden and some like PK feel different, i must say in the closed beta i got killed so many times by Nobushi and PK, but now i kinda managed to predict when they do grab or not, so i killed a good PK player who played him RLY well and i still killed him, then he killed me, then i killed him again etc. so i would say its kinda a game of luck who makes the best attack or counter play, and thats my opinion, because i had rly hard moments were he ****ed up and sometimes is just did an attack that i didnt mean to to do and it killed him xD also did that happen to me, and not only by PK, also by raider berzerker etc.
short, i cant really say if there balanced or not, some i would say yes, but i will not call them because i never know, if i have luck and kill them because i played good or what ever ^^
For me its kinda a game of luck, people who say its skill, maybe yes, but i would say its more like: "who ****s up and who not ?", i mean by this, even a skilled player could lose against someone who is not THAT skilled. ^^
I agree 100%. That's how it should be though. If you make a mistake you should be punished in combat. I have yet to play against a class I couldn't beat (other than skilled players who practice their trade). I've main'd Warden/Kensei & Lawbringer in the TT. Kensei got a well deserved buff this patch I feel.Originally Posted by Grithios Go to original post
Peacekeeper will always be a high risk-high reward class. Her bleed attack isn't hard to defend. She melts away health even when she is hit w/ light attacks. I feel that's how it should be as well. People are so quick to call her OP, when she isn't. Her bleed damage (mechanic) is slightly op IMO. Shes easy to keep at bay and counter attack even w/ vanguards. Obviously we will have to see when heavy's make a re-appearance.
Oh, and i've gotten my *** kicked by plenty of beserkers. Crazy dps. Awesome lunge attack. Great at jumping people who aren't paying attention.
My whole point of this post is you can play any class and win w/ practice and good decision making. Plain and simple. Before in the TT, valk was untouchable even in the hands of newbies. I'm glad she got another look and some balancing. Anyone who disagrees obv didn't play very much during the early tests.
I feel that the game is pretty balanced. I think a lot of people are confusing the ease of learning different characters with their actual quality. At lower levels of skill, you will notice some warriors/classes stand above others as they are easier to figure out, so roll over someone trying to figure out a more complicated warrior. That is not even close to the same thing as that particular warrior being "OP". I've found that the more time I've put into the game, the more balanced it actually feels.
It could use some balancing.
The nobushi should be nerfed, she has the speed , the bleeding, the damage, and the range, and her only downside is, that she has slightly less hp than other classes.
Also what some people have suggested before in the closed beta too. Bleeding shouldn't kill you just get you to minimum HP, that way it couldn't be abused as hard.

Even on your *easier* vanguard classes the only thing that is honestly easier is your move set. Your strengths are your simplicity. Playing as Lawbringer in the TT, I strugged to utilize all my skills but once I practiced and got a hang of them the only classes I ever struggled against were lights (Orochi, Peacekeeper). That is to be expected however, considering a heavy class would get circles run around them against a light, which is what happened. Doesn't mean I didn't, or couldn't win though..![]()
I agree w/ the bleeding point. To inflict a bleed on low health and run away like a clown ruins the game for me. But it is what it is honestly. I'd like to see what you said above implemented forsure.Originally Posted by The_AbysswaIker Go to original post
Idk what class you're playing, but I have zero issues w/ Nobushi. She isn't worth parrying, just blocking. She is quick, she does have good dps and bleeds but she isn't unbeatable by any stretch for me. I have a friend who always has trouble against moderately skilled nobushi's and he just tries to parry and close. The key is letting her beat on you, defend it, and side step. All her attacks can be side stepped easily. She is very squishy. Two heavy attacks and she is either in panic mode or running. She is good the way she is in my eyes but everyone has an opinion.
If a Nobushi blocks a heavy attack, she loses a third of her stamina.Originally Posted by mkovie20 Go to original post
