    Connection errors

I'm getting a lot more connection errors and drops than in the closed beta. I basically cannot play 4v4s anymore, I'm relegated to the 2v2s and duel matches. They're fun but I'd like to play bigger maps too. Additionally the matchmaking queue times are soo long. The issues seem to have grown instead of being fixed, anyone else experiencing the same problems?

    Behold, i know the answer!
The answer is simple if you read some interviews about for honor. In one i saw, with the ****ty connectivity as topic, it was stated something like this:

We (uisoft) dont think the game will last long. And since servers are expensive to maintain, we wont use them for a game we dont expect to last long.
How do you can play with others if there are no servers? We use peer-to-peer.

Peer-to-peer is an ancient method, where one player hosts the game on his system and works as a "server" if you want to say it that way. Butthe big difference between serverrooms and home connections is the upload/download speed. If the host has bad internet, a lot of people will get disconnected till the connection is stable again.
While closed beta had only few players (40.000), the open beta was flooded with 150.000 people yesterday. And you can bet, there are a whole lot more people with bad connection online on the weekend itself. so its getting worse instead of better.

I'm also having conectivity problems. Matchmaking takes too long for find a game and it crashes often. In Quick match sometimes it really find a match, wich crashes during the game and send me back to main menu. In the Multiplayer menu, it just cannot find any game. Error, and back to menus one more time.

It's annoying, becouse the game seems fun, but i just cannot play it becouse of the connection errors

Xbox and PS4 on the same LAN

i have found a very wierd connection bug. Me and my brother both have the For Honor Beta him on PS4 and me on Xbox, however we can not have both runing at the same time it kicks the other off with a critical error message. The xbox is on wifi with a fixed IP and the PS4 is hard wired with a random IP how ever there both on the same LAN. Any ideas? I hope this is becuse its in beta and will be fixed at full luanch. Stil very wierd.

My guess is, since both consoles might send datapackages and receive them through the same connectiondevice, some packages get confused or messed up, causing one of the clients to crash. im not sure if it works this way, but thats the only thing i could think of. otherwise the connection cant cope with 2 peer-to-peer clients and will slow one down for the sake of the other. unfortunately, if p2p doesnt get enough input, the connection will terminated, resulting in a disconnect.
