You really have to change faction system.

Seriously is useless, i mean there is no sense to play with people with other faction otherwise sometimes is better to lose the match. Example:

    My team: 1) Samurai (me)
    2) Viking
    3) Viking
    4) Templar

    Opposite team: 1) Samurai
    2) Samurai
    3) Samurai
    4) Viking

Why i should win? For me is better make the opposite team win.

They stated that your faction choice wouldn't change gameplay. How would you feel about not being able to play with one of your friends because he chose another faction than you? Technically this can be a scenario but in reality how would you know who are in which faction? Even though they are playing a samurai doesn't mean they chose samurai. I am maining a knight but yet I still chose vikings.

You get assets based on your performance in game. Winning or losing doesn't even factor into I don't think.

You get more assets when winning compared to losing. Though performance also counts I have seen a habit of the win/loss also counting a bit,

You know it from the icon near the name. If i want to play with my friend i go with him in the same faction, this system is no Worth it at all.

Loving the game to death, made prestige 3 during the closed beta, shooting for 4+ this time around.

I'm okay with people playing whatever class they feel like, but due to the war of the factions system, I find it rather silly that we queue up in a mish-mash of factions (you can tell by people's shields what faction they are).

Even if it hurt queue times a bit, it'd be much more satisfying to play full teams of Viking vs. Samurai, Viking vs. Knights and Knights vs. Samurai. Not character, but faction-wise.

It is something like this kind of feedback they are probably searching for with the open beta test. I guess they could try to implement such a change if the game gets a lot of players. It was not possible to do in the closed phases (at least in the technical tests) as the queue time would have been too long because there only were a small amount of people with access to the technical tests.

I haven't got the faintest clue what this faction thing is all about and good for. What does it do? What benefits are there? What does it contribute to anything? What is this assets thing?

All this faction thing seems to me like "during night time it's colder than outside".

I think they are afraid to do it, can you imagine thousen of kids that cry because theire best friend is in another faction?
Anyway they have to do it.
