Playing the open beta today I can say with full honesty that I have never fought against better bots..

Bots in most games are pushovers and do little to nothing to compensate for the presence of a player. In For Honor when I face a bot though I have to be just as careful as with a player or else Ill get my *** kicked for my overconfidence. When players leave matches in dominion (the only mode I've put a great deal of time into so far) the bots handle themselves well and act intelligently. They cap points and put up a strong fight in combat. Im not ashamed to say that the AI have schooled me a few times. When players leave on either side I dont feel like the match becomes a guaranteed win or loss which is great.

Great work on the bots devs, they are stellar.

I agree. Putting their difficulty to level 3 is a good challenge. lol. Good job devs. In some cases they are better than players.

To be honest whenever Ive lost to an opponent, the game is so well done that my only thoughts are either "Im not even mad" or "You just schooled my *** with style."

Bot are crazy, specially in 2v2 or 1v1 they range of combo it's bigger the all the player I fight with, and they're smart ****ing smart (dominion and elimination less), but it's really challenging

I love the feel of everything. It feels skillful and when I best someone I feel like a truly defeated them rather than exploited some manner of cheese. Wardens my favorite so far. Went 14-1 in one match going godlike and it felt so satisfying seeing those popups happen. Never really felt the same about kill streaks in other games like Halo because there are so many ways to cheap shot in them. In For Honor every kill is hard fought, even if it happens to be a cliff throw (got to have map awareness. I tend to fight opponents in open ground so environmental kills are a rarity for me.

well not really. The bots fall victim to the heavy attack way too easy, it would be nice to see a couple of parries and dodges added into them.

Ive been parried and heavily punished by bots for my heavies a lot. Usually Kenseis parry it and then slap me with an unblockable. When I miss the block or dodge that stuff is painful

1. load up custom duel turn off gear score
2. Select lvl 3 bot that will knock your teeth in.
3. Git Gud

Not joking these bots use every available tool to punish you, and will wombo combo you if they can with near perfect defense
If you can beat every lvl 3 bot you will be better than almost everyone online

I dont know what level bots are used in duels, but they are darn good.
