Hello. This are my main issues with the Open Beta:
1. I still have red NAT status (same as in Closed Beta). I have no problems with playing with random players but cannot join my friends sessions and they cannot join mine. This is game breaking issue for multiplayer oriented game like FH. The solution of port forwarding is ridiculous. Don't expect players to pay 60$ for a game and do stuff like that. Ubisoft it's on you to provide normal gaming experiance to your clients. None other AAA title requires us to do sh*t like that.
2. When your character is at the very bottom of the ladder and someone will slide down you... die! WTF? I understand if you're at significant hight and someone slides down on you, you fall down and die because of fall damage, but being 1 meter above ground and die because of this is just ridiculous.
3. My PC has i5-4460, R9 280, 16 GB RAM. I noticed that the game is more demanding now in open beta then it was in closed beta. Is it just me or is this in fact the truth?
Thanks for reading this. The game is great, but because of stuff I wrote about in the first point, the sales will be way below what they could be. It's unfortunate.
1. Had green nat since closed, I guess you are doing something wrong. had a elim change host once in 6 hours in open beta.
2. Never happened, mby if you fall all the way down. But I only played 40 hours.
3.Not any more demanding in open beta, I have the same fps as I did in closed.
Remember. its still a beta.
I start the game and see red NAT status. What am I doing wrong? Double clicking on the game icon too fast? I'm glad that you have green NAT. The internet is full of posts made by people that have this issue with NAT status in Ubisoft titles (Assassin's Creed, RS Siege, The Crew...). If you don't have this issue and know nothing about it, at least don't assume that it is players fault. Enjoy your game.Had green nat since closed, I guess you are doing something wrong. had a elim change host once in 6 hours in open beta.
It feels more demanding of my CPU to me. Never used to get stutters or anything, and it doesnt affect what it shows my FPS as. But I can see that is eating a ton of CPU power and during hectic dominion matches I can see it spike and it slows down. Never used to in any of the 3 other tests I played in.
It is pretty obvious that either your router settings or your ISPs network configuration are causing a red NAT. So this is something you have to fix, not ubisoft. I suggest opening ports and soften your routers security settings to a certain degree. google is your friend.Originally Posted by Bobola Go to original post
What is obvious is that no one have issues like that playing Battlefield or Overwatch. What is obvious is that people can have green NAT playing RS Siege and red playing For Honor (both Ubisoft games for crying out loud!). People have to mess with router settings open different ports for different Ubi titles. If that's not Ubisoft fault but theirs in your opinion then you're corporate tool acting against players interests by justifying Ubisoft bad ideas that forces players to do stuff other companies do for the players. The issue here is not that there is no solution, but that Ubisoft (and people like you) think that people who pay them should do this sh*t for them. Yes FOR THEM since other companies don't put such requirements on their customers, so stop recommending Google to me, please.
