I agree, I'm actually happy they decided that they needed the extra time.
That way we can be assured of a working new update the way the devs intended it.

It is amazing to see a game (linked to ubisoft) that is listening to and working so well with it's community.
I adressed this in a different thread myself shortly after the last big update. (Where I did praise them richard_hawkes )
And I am pleased to see how devoted they are to this game.

So what if we have to wait two more weeks, just be patient and enjoy the free new content that'll roll out soon enough.

yeah absolutely agree! the first game in ages where I thought to myself "my, it would be great if they patch this" and bam, there it is. honestly, had this a couple of times with this game already ^^

but on the other hand, there are guys like prettyboy0683. I bet he has LOTS of hours invested and he sounds like its the worst game he ever played.

I'm willing to forgive them once for a mistake like this. It could have been misscommunication. Buy if it happens again I will be very disappointed

It will happen again, this is coming from someone who just went through all this with The Divisions, this is nothing new. What ever other games they make in the future will be the same stuff. This is all just my opinion based off what I've been through. A lot of us are not new gamers, we've been around for a long time and me personally, I'm getting sick of spending hundreds of dollars on games that are not finished, buggy and exploitable.

Im a "not new gamer" (~quake...) and honestly, this never has been different. it just got more prominent due to the rising popularity and complexity of games and the internet in general. furthermore, we (gamers) even promote this type of business practice by preordering games, spending money on micro transactions and season passes etc pp.....and the untold amount ****storms people are unleashing by the tiniest amount inconvenience, see this thread.

there WAS a time where companies postponed their games if it didnt meet the intended quality and players scolded them as much as they do now. "oh the game is postponed, you guys suck" "oh the game is bugged because you rushed it, you guys suck" "oh the game isnt what I believed it to be because I did not look up what I've been actually buying" "oh this game sucks so much, nevermind the 200 hours of time I invested".....you get my point

and then, finally, after what feels like a decade of sucky games (except witcher!) and shady business practices, a more than decent game is released and the devs try their best to meet the wishes of the community but still, everything sucks

I love your game annecy, I've been waiting for a proper wintersports game for a long time now and steep is somewhat of a wet dream to me keep it up, dont let the ever present toxicity and whining get to you

Hey Aetheas, you should probably read through the Threads on here before you assume I'm saying this is the worst game ever.

I have said many good things and bad things. If everyone told them, hey Ubisoft your game is perfect and don't listen to the "whiners", then they wouldn't have had any reason to make the fixes and additions they did, which made the game better. Have you even thought about that before you started making claims about my opinion of the game? The answer is NO, you just jumped right into conclusions about me. Get your facts straight.

The "whiners" are the ones providing the best feedback for improving the game. When we see a problem we tell them the truth. That's how this game has improved this far.
