[PC]Matchmaking with friends broken, fine solo. | Forums

My friends and I keep trying to play together. So far a variety of things is happening:
1. I invite my friend, he receives an error saying "Failed to join party."
2. I successfully get him into my party. We queue for any game mode. I receive "NETWORK ERROR 000400004" and we are booted to menu.
3. He invites me, we queue for any game mode and after a short wait we are both booted to menu and the party disbanded. I receive the message "Failed to follow the party leader, you have been returned to main menu." He receives no error.

If I queue by myself, I can join any game mode with no problems, as can he.
When I invite him we have only managed to get him into the party one time out of a hundred or so invites. Whenever he invites me I always get in.
I have tried everything in the PC connectivity troubleshooting sticky.

Wouldn't you know it, I got things working on my own almost immediately after posting. Sorry about that!

Hi Konkuradaa! Are you guys playing the same region? What are your NAT types?

edit: Posted too late. We'd be happy to know what solved the issue for you.

I was on a PC connected both via wireless and ethernet cable. Disconnecting from wireless fixed all of these issues. Crazy something so simple could fix it!
