Framerate freezes for a second when I hit or get hit by an enemy in For Honor

For most of the game my frame rate is fine(usually 60 +) however; every time I hit or get hit by an enemy my frame rate freezes for a second(this could be a lag issue?). I have tried cranking the graphics down all the way and removing the blood effects, and fighting just AI offline but the freezing still only happens when i hit/or get hit by an enemy. I have tried a cold boot with my computer, I uninstalled the game and reloaded it, and made sure my video drivers were up to date but I it still freezes. I play For honor on a pc. It has a Geforce970 Graphics card. It can run battlefield 1 easily on full graphics, so I know this shouldn't be a problem. If someone know a solution to this problem please let me know. Otherwise this game will be impossible to play.

Thanks whitelash! This is listed as one of our known issues (see here) and we are currently looking into it. Some potential fixes are for you to connect your controller via USB or install the Windows 10 Anniversary update. If you are still experiencing this problem even after doing the above, please help us by reporting it to support. Hope that helps!

    Try this

I had same issues but sometimes even when not hitting etc. Game runs all the time 70-90fps but suddenly freezes for a second or so...

This helped me to get rid of lag: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...macro-stutters
I only set the priority to highest and works great now. Hope it helps you too

You need to do this everytime you start the game but it's worth it

I have a GTX 970 and a bluetooth wireless Xbox One Controller.

Turning off vibration under Controls settings fixed this for me.

This is a partial fix for me. I no longer have a second long freeze after a hit or getting hit, but now my framerate isn't solid 60 fps with vsync enabled.

    I have a Xbox One S Controller, 980ti, i7 4770k, 16Gb 2400MHz Corsair Vengeance DDR3.
