But what the hell is the deal with it needing to be on C drive. That is so stupid. So I would need to uninstall all my games that I have and uninstall Uplay just to reinstall it on my C drive for some dumb reason just to play the game. No other game needs to be installed on the C drive so them telling us that is a lazy *** response.


*Also just remembered, a buddy of mine has this game installed on his D drive and it works for him so I don't know how valid that "fix" is.*

Installing the game on C disk can make sense on some versions of Windows. But you don't need to reinstall it, just to move the game location, easy with Steam and also Uplay.

But don't even try it, I did it yesterday and it doesn't help at all

I don't blame you. I'm so sad about this. I was waiting to play this game for a LONG time. Since they first announced it and it's a shame that not only does the game not launch for us but they wont even give us a valid response to the issue. Nor does it seem that they care to fix it. Honestly I was planning to preorder the collectors edition and everything but after this I don't know if I will even buy the game. Imagine spending money on it and then it just doesn't launch. It's crazy.

I may have missed which video card you are running, but I'm using the first generation Titan and the game does not launch for me, or any other first gen titan user either.

Yea, the titan cards have huge issues with the game I am running a 970 evga. Friend has the same card and is playing. Wondering if its a monitor issue where its not scaling correct error and just closes. Anywhere running a tv for monitor? or a abnormal ratio?

sad thing is i got into alpha and closed beta but could never get on and they dont me "i didn't" even though i showed the emails and links. So all this could have been avoided if they didnt just ignore my invites....

Try deinstalling GeForce experience. Seems completely nonsensical but worked for me

I have tried that, sadly it did not work. I've givin up at this point. 2 whole days with a 3 page topic and no devs. Game is doa before it hits the shelves.
