I'm new to using uplay on my pc and I couldn't find a recently met players section and I couldn't find a way to add players that are in your For Honor lobbies. Am I missing something? Is there a uplay overlay I can open that makes it easy to add players mid match or do I need to manually search for their names after a match?
Go to Uplay's friends tab and look into "Friends suggestions" but it only shows players that you've spent a bit more time with than just one game. For example, if you play two or more games of duel with againts the same person, that player will then show up there. Uplay doesn't register every single character so you can really only get suggested very few players that you were in action the most.

Just want to add, based off the time and date of this post. This did not, nor NEVER existed in the last 6 years. It is pretty obvious in wildlands or siege that there is a "trick to the trade" on whether or not you hit the tab key, your "map" key or some other key to pull up in game menu to actually show the UPLAY profile of said player (whether it is for reporting or adding as a friend". This functionality does NOT exist in For Honor (to this day) and i just bought the game a few weeks ago. It is not as SIMPLE as you would think. nor as difficult, but what I can tell you, is it literally took me adding these random guys to my friends list, and inviting them to a For Honor game. . . and that is pretty damn ******ed.
Am I do something wrong as a new For honor gamer, versus a 11 year old UbiSoft beta tester?....... Just curious, because no one on either end seems to know the answer a few years later............................................. ..
Your best bet is to either remember their name or take a screenshot of it with F12. Then press SHIFT + F2 to bring up the Uplay overlay, go to the Friends tab, go to Find Player, type in their name and send a friend request.
It's a lot more cumbersome than PSN and Xbox Live on consoles where you go through less steps. They really should make it an in-game feature for ease of use. After all muting and reporting players works on the same basis and yet we can't send in-game friend requests? Hmm...
