That's very funny. On the same PC. I can't get the game to launch on uplay, but I can run it from steam just fine.

Give that a try if you are using uplay. seems it's not working.

you install steam, download the game, and when it asks you to link accounts, say no, skip that. If you do that, it does bad things like shows your steam login ID as your profile name (really stupid choice on ubisofts part, they should have used my profile name, not my login id).
