Just alt-tab from te game to task manager and turn off the first core. The load will be evenly spread across the other cores. There are some apps to automatize this dont remember now.Have fun.

seems like installing the game on the ssd was just a temporary solution. now i have memory leaks again. as written in some posts in the previous page, i tried to set everything (anti cheat, the game and the splashscreen) to run as admin. but then the game doesn't even start. this game is making my hair fall off.

TRAX I did it man. I just fixed my issue. I was running windows 10 with an xbox controller driver. A friend was having a similar issue and told me to uninstall the xbox controller driver. then just plug in a generic wired controller and W10 will download a compatible driver. It all works fine now. Hope this works for you pal.

I'm glad it worked out for you, but unfortunately i kinda need the pad drivers, cause i use an Xbox fight stick to play fighting games. I'll try anyway, i have a second fight stick for ps3/4, maybe i'll make a compromise by using that one. In the mean time, thanks for the advice

i don't know if i'm doing it the wrong way, but even after uninstalling the drivers on device manager, the drivers seem to be installed anyway. i think this because if i plug the pad in again, it desn't install the drivers again, it just acts as nothing was removed. i even checked the "show hidden devices" option and uninstalled also those drivers that show up. needless to say, the games makes my ram explode anyway.
