Still doesn't work unfortunately. Oh well. Game becomes literally unplayable.Originally Posted by Trax87 Go to original post
I have tracked this down to a non-paged memory leak in 2 drivers, one of them being an Xbox controller driver. The other is an intel driver, the IDs in poolmon.exe are "GPIO" and "dc1-". For Honor is causing it. I do not believe it is an anti-virus problem. I have emailed Ubi Montreal (I used an old cached web page to get an email for the Montreal team) and hopefully someone will forward it to their coding team, who knows. I did my best.
All these people having this issue, what os, cpu, and launcher(steam/retail/etc) do you have?
I'm running win10 and an i7. Ldiggity mentioned intel drivers and it may be happening with a certain generation of cpus.
I never had the issue as bad as you guys but some things were solved when I set eac, forhonor, and splashscreen to run as admin in your game folder. Hopefully this is worth mentioning and helps somebody.

I don't feel like typing all that but i posted a screen. As you can see under normal circumstances I have about 12.9 GB of available memory. After running For Honor for a few hours it will only be 1GB free. Running W10 with all updates. I have the games installed to my C Drive (SSD). Admin rights and all that good stuff.
I have seen this before in other games but not on this system, this is the first time it has happened.
This solve it for me, I forgot to set also eac and splashscreen in admin.Originally Posted by Meri. Go to original post
PLaying since 1 hour and no leak yet ! Thank you
Same problem here. Ram memory leak really bad in about ten min. i have no antivirus (only windows defender and i try to disable it), my launcher is steam and i have already set all in admin mode. No soulution for now, i can't play the game whatsoever.
My config are Intel (R) core (TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2,60GHz 2,60GHz. RAM 16 gb. Windows 10 x64bit. Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060.
It's an alienware laptop. I've contact the ubi support but no answer. Really pissing me off. Anyone with other solution? or we have to wait a patch?
Since the intel driver was brought up, I wanted to add I'm using a Phenom II x6 and experiencing the memleak like crazy. It's not just the intel driver, if the intel driver at all. The xbox controller leak may be relevant, as I'm using an xbox one pad. But I'm fairly certain it happens without the pad plugged in too.
