NO, nothing will carry over to the release.

NO, nothing carried over from closed to open beta.

if you really think that beta-progress will carry over to the released game you must have never played a beta befor...

actually i played tons of betas Close Beta = Wipe but in Open Betas = there was no wipe
And i played a lot open beta games... sooo this is a legit question

i have NEVER heard of any open beta that carried over any progress, but ok

For the record I have played many Open Betas were progress carried over, it's often a selling point to get you to buy the full game because they quite rightly believe you will be invested in your characters and what you have achieved with them and want to carry that on.
However, in the case of For Honor:
It has been answered in another thread I read earlier.
Nothing is carrying over except the emblems for winning the Faction War.
This was from a Ubisoft guy.

Well, on ubisoft page it clearly states:

Join us for the For Honor Open Beta : Discover the "Elimination" mode and lead your faction to victory.
Keep your Closed Beta build and get ready to dowload the Open Beta patch from February the 6th."

They mean game client when they say build. There is another thread where this was misunderstood too (maybe you are the same guy).
They do not mean you can keep your character build.
Build is an unfortunate word to use because so many people think of build as their characters stats and gear.

I hope there is a wipe. I spent the newb stipend on garbage packs instead of character unlocks, lol.
