It would be very valuable to get your DxDiag files to resolve the issue.

Do you run multiple GPUs in your PCs?
Does your CPU have an integrated GPU?
To what GPU is your main monitor connected to?
Do you typically run SLI or CrossFire setups?
In case you have multiple monitors: Do you potentially try to switch the game to fullscreen on a monitor that is not connected to your dedicated GPU?

There are some command line options you could test:
    Code:
/gfxadapter:<index>: Value starting at 0... Selects the GPU for rendering
/displayoutput:<index> Value starting at 0... Selects the Output device for rendering
/allowexclfullscreen:on Enables support for exclusive fullscreen rendering
    /fullScreen:on Enables fullscreen
    Example:
    Code:
    ForHonor.exe /allowexclfullscreen:on /fullScreen:on /gfxadapter:0 /displayoutput:0
If one of the command line options resolves the issue for you, please let us know!

    Thank you!
i already gave yall my msinfo and dxdiag files to support and they didnt help any.........

Thing is even in uPlay you can do the ALT+Enter as normal, but when in-game if I check options it is still "borderless"

Dear forum member, if you have nothing interesting to share regarding the Full Screen issue affecting some users, please avoid the thread.

Interesting most of us here on this thread have a GTX mobile.

Have you tried with nVidia drivers 378.49?

I remember I was on 376.33 yesterday when I checked.

At the moment I can't test the latest drivers. If you can give it a go or find a solution let us know.

Also if you output through another monitor/TV via HDMI can you check if you get the fullscreen working?

    gpu: GTX 860m

    cpu: i7 4720HQ

I am on a laptop if it wasn't apparent from the specs, can't go fullscreen.

EDIT: Multiple GPUs 1 is an Intel integrated one

Interestingly enough, everyone that has reported this problem so far has a mobile-grade GPU.

    My specs:

    -Core i7-6700HQ
    -GeForce 940MX (Driver version 369.59)
    -16GB RAM
    -Windows 10

For those reporting unplayable framerates this is due to the fact that in windowed mode you cannot change the rendering resolution except by modifying the size of the window. For example, it forces my instance of the game to run in 2560x1440 at 16fps. Of course, such a resolution is overkill for playing on a laptop.

Therefore, my "better-than-nothing" workaround is the following: change your screen resolution directly in the OS for something like 1280x720 or 1920x1080 and go "windowed-borderless". -> I got it to run at 50fps in 1280x720.

This is not perfect as performance should be far superior on true fullscreen and we can still see the mouse cursor but hey, at least you can play.

    Geforce GTX 980M version (373.06)
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6820HK CPU @ ".70GHz
    16 GB of Ram
    4k moniter
    Windowns 10

and it forces my game to run at 4k

    Ubisoft support,

It would be rather nice, althoug I understand the conditions of a Beta test (ending 2 days prior to game release) that there would be issues.

Apparently for what you can read on this thread it seems that users running Nvidia GTX mobile are unable to run the game in Fullscreen.

Being the only working option borderless or windowed, that as you understand has a huge FPS impact.

We have tried all the options available.

    1) deleting option.ini = Not working
    2) editing / removing multiple lines in .ini = Not working
    3) forcing fullscreen on .exe = Not Working

Is it possible to get your hands on a GTX 950/60/70m and test and maybe understand the grief we are all having?

It will be rather difficult to buy the game if this issue persists throughout the beta.

It would be rather nice for the possible future clients to have a support team interested in sorting the issues.

If there is anything other than posting our rigs specs, please let us know.

Thank you for your precious time!

I'm posting the same in http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...5#post12284995 and http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...8#post12284988 just in case...
