I assume the beta will be granted an extra 5/6 hours on the close time then. Not only has Uplay client crashed and ruined this experience for us yet again, but there is an additional 2gb patch to download upon release, even though a preload was available (surely preloading means you can play as soon as time limit hits, instead of waiting an addition hour and a half to download)
Uplay launches then starts the "Initializing..." phase then just flops on "Connection Lost: A Ubisoft service is not available at the moment. You can try again later or switch to offline mode." With two optional buttons for try again and offline mode.
Soooo we have not even crashed For Honor servers we have crashed the UBISoft servers? That is either really impressive or really sad!
ETA?
WTF another 2.5GB download while the Uplay launcher has been sitting there OPEN all week? Not good

UPDATE: Now Uplay lets me login after launching with ID/PW error 5 times! (Fully expected my account to be locked out)
Then Uplay does not seem to realize that I still need to 2.5GB download to play FOR HONOR! After manually starting a download on FH it now gives me the error "Ubisoft is unable to start your download.Check that you have an active internet connection and enough space on your hard drive." While actually being connected to Uplay.

It now recognizes there is a download to be had after several restarts of Uplay itself .... waiting for next error!
