[PC]Not Letting Me Download Patch From Closed to Open Beta | Forums

Been trying since the pre-load started for Open Beta and the patch isn't initializing. I've restarted both the download and the launcher multiple times but I've been at this for 40 minutes now and it doesn't appear to be working.

This message appears whenever I try to restart the download:

"Uplay is unable to start your download. Check that you have an active internet connection and sufficient space on your hard drive then try again."

I have both internet connection and enough space on my hard drive. I've even tried running Uplay in admin mode and disabling my antivirus to no avail.

Can you try adjusting the bandwidth slider in the Uplay Client settings menu?

For example, lower it a little and re-prompt the download. If the download proceeds you can return the slider to its original position.

Thank you! Thank you for responding as well, but unfortunately changing the download slider doesn't appear to solve the problem. I tried it for a few minutes but it had the same result however, I will continue to try to adjust it and retry.

And it also say i should uninstall and try again... but for some reason i cant even uninstall the closed beta build...

Im having the exact same issue- The download will not start- tried changing bandwith, and get same result
