I have noticed that in a lot of videos complaints (comments section). People were complaining that they were not going to buy this game, Cancelled pre orders or were considering no longer buying it until its very cheap. So I wanted to bring this up as a suggestion to bring back Offline single player and/or story mode.
Some of the reason for this was apparently the fact that they do not see how For Honor being only solely Online was beneficial for them some examples were that with constant Connection loses online time could be spent on the main offline story mission or practicing for when the multiplayer connection came back, the fact that for travelling or lack of internet connection could not allow them to access the game that they have purchased or also that ubisofts servers go down they will permanently no longer be able to keep the game they purchased at full price. They also showed examples like EA and server experiences and also when such games as SimCity Online connection only game became a complete failure.
Here's one video I found of the backlash. On IGN major dislike bar)

And what do you guys think of this suggestion? Should we simply have single player Offline Accessible.
Peace.
I don't see how being required to connect to the internet for a single player experience benefits consumers. Saying that a constant connection is necessary for shared progression between single player and multiplayer seems like a lie. That's just my opinion, and I don't claim to be an expert on such things. You can't deny that there have been games in the past in which progression was shared between the single player and multiplayer. I know it's a different kind of game, but Borderlands 2 comes to mind. Seriously, Ubisoft should find a way to remedy this. Even EA added more offline support to Battlefront after consumer backlash. I enjoyed playing the For Honor beta, and I preordered the game. I'm not going to cancel my preorder despite it's online only nature, but don't lie to me and tell me it's necessary for progression purposes. The real truth is probably that it's a way to combat piracy, and they think consumers are too stupid to know that. Just my thoughts.
here what we dont know possible the main reason why its going to be a online only game is
because of sony paying a backhand to them to make it online game only
which i think happens a lot
all gamer want Offline single player and/or story mode
because not everyone has great internet or the take it to a friends house who does not have internet.
the only way they will listen if we vote with our wallets and not support any company that is having online only games
this is a bad idea as they can click the switch to off at the server with in two years
