So today, after testing beta I will decide if I will buy it or not, but I really don't like being cut from valuable content, and don't feel like buying gold edition. How important is season pass in this game? From what I saw, the game itself is not influenced by it, and the season pass stuff is either timed exclusive (which is 100% fine with me), or some armor.

Am I right? And if I am, will that armor be obtainable some other way?

I can tolerate 30 day boost or some random artsy-fartsy stuff like light-beams. But I hate when maps, characters and any stuff that is essential to gameplay is locked out in an online game until I spend money.

The deluxe edition comes with the armor and emblems, the season pass comes with an emote and an exclusive emblem and other little goodies.
The characters and maps will be free for everyone, most likely the new characters will cost a large amount of steel to unlock in game, the season pass gives you early access to them and if this game is like Rainbow 6 siege will give you the new characters for free in game

Edit: The armor should be the only thing that you won't be able to get in game and they might add more as the game goes on but it will be cosmetic items not stat boosting ones

You are right.
The Season Pass is almost completely worthless unless you like superficial fluff (emblems, execution moods) or you have no patience (can't wait 1 week / earn some steel).
