Hi,

Checked out the beta, spent really just a tiny time in there, and that was enough for me to see how unimpressive the game is.

Pro: The main background story and how the missions are built (based on the intro vid I can guess) is intriguing for sure.
Pro: Graph seems good, though lights are lightyears more realistic and more impressive in Division. I had a bit of "lego" feel when walking around. Can't explain it better.

Cons: Character view, distance and mostly char animation is terrible. Just really cheap. In a 3rd. person game I expect now the character animation to be flawless, complex. Either its because of the beta or not, but the whole graphics fidelity didn't struck me as much like division with complexity.

Biggest Cons: Physics. Just plain terrible. There is no real physics simulation in this game whatsoever, very minimalist. In an open world, strategy and shooter game in 2017 I expect ground breaking physics that you need to plan with during gameplay.

And before everyone jumps on the beta train and tells me this is not the final product: the above won't be changed by the time the game "hits the stores". We've learned that beta is a little preview about the game, you can basically be sure that this is the 99% finished product, only some tweaking and minimal changes will occurs.

I'm just astounded by the fact that they were working on this for 4 years? On what? I mean the engine is given, just look at division, its perfect (physics need a boost there too though). Lay down the game mission mechanics is a couple of months tops. So the 4 years of implementation time I call bullsh!t!
