they just released a new DLC for R6 and there are rumors that a new SC is in the works, so sworn off is a bit strong.Originally Posted by ThePollie Go to original post
Yeah, no. My friends aren't buying any of that. Adding in new operators to break the current meta to keep Esports fresh all the time doesn't suddenly make the game better. They're not playing now, won't be playing later, and are boycotting both brands because of these games.Originally Posted by rms131 Go to original post
Of course. What's a guy supposed to do in the meantime?Originally Posted by GiveMeTactical Go to original post
Alot of games seem to be missing something. There seems to be a trend to make people 'react' rather than 'think' in games. I don't know if it's because i'm getting older, or games are getting...different? But i'm finding that i havn't actually 'outthought' anyone in a long while, i've 'micro'd' better, or 'reacted' quicker, but not planned or thought. Games are becoming less chess, and more hungry hippos. I got the feeling about wildlands that it was halfway inbetween, with little idea what it wants to be. What annoys me though is the potential is there, with little effort the game can change drastically.
A 10 Kg (22 pound) assault rifle? What the hell do you have mounted on it? 10 flash lights, 6 optics and 3 under barrel grenade launchers? My 18 inch barrelled AR15 with optic is around 8 pounds (3.5 Kg) My Desert Tech SRS in .300 WingMag is a little over 11 pounds (5 Kg).
Honestly, it's less the weight of a single weapon and more of the collective.
You've got the rifle, the optic, potentially batteries for the optic, a suppressor, a foregrip, a filled magazine, flashlight and laser sight, and enough ammo to ensure you can carry out the operation, with perhaps spare in case things go south and you need to go on the run without supply for a bit. Plus a pistol, ammo and attachments for it, a second rifle, water and food, medical supplies, possibly some explosives, map and compass, knife, the drone(maybe more than one?), radio, some eating utensils perhaps...
Like life, it's never one massive problem that crushes you. It's almost always just an overwhelming sea of little things that just add it to a mountain.
I'm with you on this. I preorder it because I really liked it. Indeed there is a lot of problem to me and I really hope it will be fixed because it will make the game way more interesting but still I enjoyed the f*** out of it.Originally Posted by Albator_IIII Go to original post
It felt like the arma I always wanted to play.
The world was awesome and beautifull the gameplay felt great I loved the charactersmith and the backstory and for me a lot of minor adjustment will make it my personnal goty!
Minor adjustment like:
ai customization
unequip weapons
was too assisted on ghost (marker)
loadout accessible everywhere
And of course there is some more bigger tweak
AI overall too easy
in depth order to your team
move bodies (not disapearing in a seconds)
rappelling
clothing impact on ai perception
No nvg model on the head
Go outside, live a little... wait for the game to be finished... none of this will end your life, believe me.Originally Posted by Albator_IIII Go to original post
You enjoyed the **** out of it as it stands right now. Try to imagine the fun you will have if all of this minor tweaks were already in place, let alone the bigger tweaks... it would be like a Threesome!Originally Posted by RV_whiplash Go to original post![]()
But again, nobody is stopping you from giving UBI your money... all I am saying is: Don't expect the changes to come on release or any time soon because you already told UBI you are ok with what they have done so far so there is no incentive for them to finish it. At most, they will bring it DLCs that you may want to pay for later on.
