"Realistically", an "operator" would be carrying every last ****ing thing and the kitchen sink, and would be wishing he could fit a battleship in some pocket somewhere. Because when there is only four guys, WAY behind enemy lines, with NO lines for anything? You'll be dragging **** you didn't even know EXISTED along, on the very off chance that, just maybe, you'll have need for it. Because there is no support, there is no quartermasters, no-one else but YOU that will have one and bring it.Originally Posted by MEXiCOandFRiEND Go to original post
... Behind enemy lines, you need to travel light. Nothing that isn't necessary is brought with. If it slows you down, it better be mission-vital or it's a threat to the team. There is a reason why dedicated roles exist in the military - If you need something done, you want it done by the best man for the job. Special operations is all about precision, you don't get precision by trying to have everyone do everything. That just gets you a handful of people that are "pretty decent" at everything, but nobody that is "bloody damn solid" at the one thing you absolutely need right now.
You don't throw a bag of medical supplies at someone and say they're treating people during this mission. You find a proper medic.
Why not leaving the choice to the player? Equip 1-3 weapon(s).Originally Posted by RV_whiplash Go to original post
Because it does not look as cool and the animation is already there so yeah... Player's Freedom and the name of said player is UBI.
But again, we are only kidding ourselves while having some good times hoping for a good GR experience that will never be. I mean, one member even said that he would want all of the changes fix but he wasn't going to punish himself by not buying the game at release. After UBI read this do you think they will care what we want? Nah man... this is the kind of feedback that UBI is looking for.
I've said it myself and all my friends have too - If this game bombs, it'll be the last Ghost Recon they ever buy. They've all already sworn off Rainbow6 and Splintercell after Siege and Blacklist.
Frankly, I'm betting it'll bomb. Every time this company decides to deviate from the brand's roots, it just turns out as a steaming pile of ****.
You are referring to me I think. Yes, I lke the game enough to get it. It is not perfect and particularly the AI could use improvement. Another way to look at having strong initial sales is to show to game companies the appetite for that formula is substantial enough to invest years in developing a game in that genre. From what I experienced in the CB, there is enough for me to be entertained and pay the asking price. I am itching for a new game anyhow.Originally Posted by GiveMeTactical Go to original post
If your experienced differed and doesn't convince you to purchase it then you are doing the right thing by voting with your wallet.
Cheers.
